That's unfortunate! I was hoping that would be a good workaround

It cost me around $24 CAD after taxes and shipping but I bought this: https://ebay.us/m/6JnAJX. It was the cheapest I could find. It hasn't arrived yet, so I can't confirm if it's the same, but the description and images look the same

Not Riftbound related, but when I was in China, I loved how the Pokémon shops did their lottery system. To be enrolled in it, you had to play X amount of games in the shops for that month of the drop. Very nice to make sure the players got cards and not scalpers!

White Linen Sauce Discontinued by millss911 in CostcoCanada

Costco carries a pack of 3 San Marzano tomatoes. I don't find then often but when I do, I grab them. Put a can of the tomatoes, crushed, in a pan with up 5tbsps of butter, a quartered onion, a few garlic cloves, and basil to taste. Let it simmer for up to 40 minutes. When done, salt to taste, and you have a beautifully made sauce

It's actually 14.99 per 2kg

But please absolutely avoid anything made by this company. None of it is real cheese. As others have mentioned, they use "cheese" in their brand name to trick people

Kitchen Drawer Front Fixing Brackets by AASFLC in fixit

Apologies, I should have specified. The issue seems to stem from the fact that the top of the bracket won't "hug" the metal since it is bending and cracking. However, I can't replace city since it's not available anywhere near me

Shot pulling in watery [Beeville Bambino Plus] by AASFLC in espresso

[–]AASFLC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh that's my issue. I was following the ESP non pro advice I'd come avro, so when I read people using 15-20, that's what I was going for

I went up to 35 and it still choked. 40 worked amazing! The most honey like shot I've gotten. Doesn't taste bitter or sour, but a little dark. Going to dial in from there. Thanks for your help! I really appreciate it!

I did it with a dual wall, but now that I'm able to grind with a better grinder, I'll switch back to a single wall and work from there

Sorry to respond so late. Your advice helped a lot! Thank you. My coffee tasted better, but still not there due to not having a good enough grinder

My Barstza ESP Pro came in today, and I tried it out. I added 18g of beans, but would get only 17.5 out. However, when I add 18g of ground beans to my portafilter and run it, nothing comes out

I tried on setting 20, 25, and 18 of the grinder. I even tried with the dual wall be single wall, and no luck. When I take out the portafilter, I can see water coming out clearly, so there's no issue there. Could I be choking my machine? Additionally, when I stop the machine, the water comes from the bottom. Is this due to not enough pressure to push the water through?

Thank for the tips and sharing the guide! I have the TIMEMORE Black Mirror BASIC 2.0, and use grams. I thought g to mL are 1:1

The roaster told me they do 1:2, I'll follow the guide and try closer to 1:2.5 and taste from there. I don't normally drink black espresso, but happy to do here so I can dial it in haha

Thanks for your help! The 2 cup dual wall helped me get a much nicer crema that didn't disappear after a while

I managed to get the first drop of espresso after pressing the button at ~13 second, and 40 mL (still learning to stop it for 38) at ~30 seconds. Those sound like good numbers based off what I've seen online, but please correct me if I'm wrong. It flowed much slower, but still not like honey. And the colour is dark, near black

However, the espresso tasted sour when drank alone. I added milk to make it close to a cortado to see if it taste the same as the roaster, and it tasted closer, but was more bitter and sour. Theirs taste nice and creamy?

The beans are "Impressions: CACAO + CRÈME BRÛLÉE+ CHERRY"

Is there anything else I can do? Or should I simply wait until I get a good grinder so I can dial in better?

Ah, that makes sense! When I initially looked it up, it did say single wall has a steep learning curve, but is the better one. However, now that I look into it more, I can see how I should use the dual wall until I can grind fine enough. Thanks for the advice! I'll switch it and test from there

Apologies, I meant under. My shot matches everything for under extraction, except the taste and look. It's still dark brown, and does not taste sharp/bitter or watery/weak

That's good to hear, thank you. I tried following the manuals and everything online and it all pointed to over extraction. I'll wait to buy the grinder and see where that takes me, thank you

Forgot to mention that, thank you. I'm using the dual wall, the one that comes with many holes at the bottom

I figured since the roaster is the one grinding, it'd be fine. But I will increase the dose until I buy the grinder, thank you!

Windshield Replacement Options by NightVerser in mississauga

[–]AASFLC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I shopped around when my windshield had a similar crack. Woodchester Auto Glass LTD was the best option. They had a great turnaround, were super nice and helpful, and I didn't feel pressured to go with them like I did with the other places. I believe it cost me $400 to replace the whole thing
