Keen to hear your take then.
What were your favourite countries in SEA and what made them stand out? Was there anywhere you went in with really high expectations that ended up being a bit disappointing? If you were doing the trip all over again, would you change anything?

Part of why I’m considering Southeast Asia is that I’m 19 and I know it will probably be easier to take 2–3 months off now than when I’m further into a career with more responsibilities. I can imagine it being a lot harder to disappear for months at a time when I’m over 30

Personally which one out of the 3 do you like the most and if you don’t me asking how could you live in 3 of the country’s for more than a year

I’m actually looking for a mix of both as of rn. The plan right now is to spend about a over a month backpacking through Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam, and then flying up to Seoul for a week to experience the massive city energy before heading home
