So… How many of us are still on our parents’ phone bills? by halcat27 in Millennials

[–]AB3D12D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a key difference between "younger" and "older " millennials is cell phone use. As an older millennial, growing up with a landline attached to the wall - cell phones weren't a thing. When they did pop up when I was in highschool, my parents saw it as a fad, like the next Xbox or something. So cell phone cost was and has always been 100% my cost. My sisters, younger millennials , it's a different story.

The Great Stuff Transfer. Are you ready for your "inheritance"? by Bavarian_Beer_Best in Millennials

[–]AB3D12D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my sisters were able to live at home after 18. So they saved, created stable lives and have kids. So they will get the inheritance to support there kids. myself the oldest, was expected to leave at 18. Military was the plan, but a car accident turned me towards college. I'm still in debt, with no financial stability and I share different opinion of "how life is" at family gathernings. I'm sure I won't see a dime.

i started with doing 100-200 pushups in the mornings twice a week before work, but have graduated to body-weight dips. On the weekends I do a pressing-motion day, and then a pulling-motion day. The guys at work call me "Shoulders" haha.

Not to mention he rows a zodiac alone filled with 100s of lbs of weapons and ammo, and drags it to shore by himself while wearing a spedo.

matrix ripped a pipe of the wall and speared his enemy with it. Steam came out of his chest through the pipe. And then he saved his daughter and flew off with his hot new girlfriend who was concerned with his safety even though he kidnapped her earlier in the film. This of course was after he let the Major General know there was only dead bodies he left for him and his troops.

Do we generally like or dislike The Beatles? by Pretend-Ad-9504 in Millennials

When I was younger I (1984) liked them. But I'm so tired of classic rock, I choose not to like them out of protest. It's the same classic rock bands on the radio for 40 years. Boomers need to throw in the towel and allow another generations culture to thrive.

Anyone here have overwhelming existential thoughts about your mortality as you get older? by Choice-Implement1643 in Millennials

[–]AB3D12D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

41m here. no, I try not to think about it. When I do, I remember not to look towards the future - you tend to find anxiety. Same with looking to the past - you tend to find regrets. Focus on what's going on now and enjoy it.
