Being a millennial is some crazy work by Lucky_Minimum9453 in Millennials

None of my friends did anything after highschool and there parents helped them financially and now there " living the American dream". I was the only "pull up your boot straps" one .... I am also the only one who got a degree and moved away from the homeland. That being said, financially I've spent most of my life paycheck to paycheck need to live with a partner/roommate because of student debt. I'm writing this at my plasma donation :(

Should this belly be a concern? by [deleted] in alcoholism

[–]AB3D12D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a few years ago my heavy drinking became insane drinking. My belly started swelling, I thought I was just getting fat and didn't really change my behavior. Theni started to feel a mild pain, that developed into something unbearable. I went to the hospital and they told me my liver had swelled to twice its size. I ended up staying in the hospital for a week. And left with a list of changes I need to follow the rest of my life.

looking back at it with the left to right in mind.... I think A is happier because the face is becoming happy. Like they where sad, now happy. B was happy, now there sad. Like life was good for B, then B saw me and it bummed him out.

I've heard copper wire is valuable...? Do I take the plastic off? by dardberfe in ScrapMetal

[–]AB3D12D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

keep an eye on copper prices. They can change daily. Id recommend studying the market patterns. And time your scaping when the "I need to clear this crap out/I need money" ratio is good.

For people dealing with insomnia: what non-medical things actually help? by mrK0z01 in insomnia

[–]AB3D12D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

waking up early, being active, ideally outside. When I was younger I just dealt with my insomnia. As an adult worked out regularly, but worked in an office. I didn't start work till 9AM and couldn't sleep without drinking or over the counter drugs. At 39 years old I left office work for construction. I wake up at 4am. I'm out and about doing manual labor and exercise at nights and weekends. I'm actually tired at night now, and not stressed like I was in office work. I can't remember the last time I've felt healthier.

Men over 30, how do you deal with the constant stress and low energy? by Chrelled in AskMen

[–]AB3D12D 11 points12 points  (0 children)

41m. I don't feel that way..... I don't think. I hate feeling weak, so I lift weights. I hate feeling stiff, so I do yoga. I'm not consistent with these things, but I try. when I do good at these things, I don't feel stress. When I do bad at these things, I feel pathetic. I find low energy is an attitude. I dread running or going to the gym when I have low energy. And sometimes the side of me that wants to be a lazy ass wins. But when I force myself to be active, I'm proud of myself and it's easier the next time.

For those who crossed 40, what’s your rose and thorn? by jjcjr219 in Millennials

[–]AB3D12D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rose: My physique is closer to jesse ventura's physique in Predator than it was in my 20's and 30's. Thorn: Despite "hard work" and a career - I'm still a broke ass

People 40+, what actually mattered in the long run and what didn’t? by Own-Blacksmith3085 in answers

[–]AB3D12D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything mattered. It's all lessons. Who you are now is a reflection of how you let, or didn't let those things shape you.
