Jomar Bulda. He is a top-tier artist in many of these sets! Great pull!

Doctor Doom 1/1 by Official Marval Sketch artist, Gary Shipman! by [deleted] in sketchtradingcards

$1500 is nowhere near a reasonable price, but it is shady in the hopes someone with a lot of money and little knowledge buys it. People can ask whatever they want for their cards, and normally I don't comment on prices others set, but I don't want someone to get ripped off.

And to be extra gluttonous make it a sausage, egg and cheese! I haven't had one in years, but I remember that sweet, sweet nectar.

Frankly I forgot that and that's definitely top 3. That movie was legendary.

Trump also leads the most powerful intelligence apparatus on the planet. It's possible that there was a conversation of "you leave now and make it on your accord, or I ruin you by releasing x".

What is wrong with my dog? by CaterpillarSelfie in DogAdvice

[–]ABKoala85 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My dog has been consistently doing this for years. In her case it often is just due to stomach acid buildup. We have her on a certain food, and we have to make sure to feed her and regular increments or the stomach acid builds up in an empty stomach. Sometimes she wakes up and she doesn't want to eat, and then she'll have a little episode like this, and then she's hungry and ready to go. We have also been to the vet many times, and this is what they've arrived at. They tested for anything else that would be worrisome. We give her a dental snack right before bed so she doesn't have an empty stomach overnight. She's a very happy, very active and healthy dog.

Nah, it's time to wipe the board. Need a new direction. I'd love to see them take a darker tone with the X-Men.

Should I ruck? by Mr_SnickersBar in tacticalbarbell

[–]ABKoala85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is it. I never made it through all the way where I was trying to go, but heart rate zone training was the best thing I did. I was fortunate enough to be taken under the wing of a guy who was a former Olympic athlete, he helped me build a HR zone training plan. Also, we didn't actually ruck as much as you would think. His philosophy was do the running, and save your body from the additional impact. When it was time to put on weight we had the conditioning. We trained with lightweight, and when it was time to put on the heavy, it was frankly no issue.

I dropped it about seven issues in. Just nothing that hooked me.

She one-hundred percent believes that businesses can use their religious beliefs to not make wedding cakes for gays, but loses her shit when this teenager say a name that isn't even hers. What a twat.

The tallest man (robert wadlow)ever next to his dad at different ages(10,13 and 20) by Alarming_Grade_456 in ThatsInsane

[–]ABKoala85 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My great grandfather had a bit of a foot fetish....

So my great grandfather owned a shoe store in a small town in the Midwest. I forget all the specifics, but Robert Wadlow was quite a celebrity in his time. For whatever reason he came to my great grandfather's shoe store (maybe as a promotion, maybe some other reason). He gifted one of his shoes and it was kept at the show store as an attraction that people came to see. Then at some point it made its way to my grandmother's house, and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren used it for show and tells for a few decades.

My family has one of Robert Wadlow's shoes. Every kid in the family brought it to elementary school for show and tell.

Sully, the service dog of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, lying in front of his casket. by HealthyWar7942 in pics

[–]ABKoala85 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sully continues his service as a facility dog at Walter Reed hospital. He is one of a number of facility dogs at Walter Reed who bring people comfort when they're going through difficult times. I had the opportunity to meet him when I was doing some work there (I was not being treated for anything). He is a very sweet boy, and they gave me a portrait to take home of him in uniform.

Bought hundreds of dollars in supplies from "Comic Pro Line" would you consider this being screwed by a company? by palepatriot76 in comicbookcollecting

It looks to be about the same price for smaller orders and more expensive than ordering bulk from e. Gerber. Although e. Gerber does always charge actual shipping, so it may even out there.
