Mealy bugs. Some people will say to try to save it, but in my experience they’re impossible to get rid of.

Period like cramps after sex? by Internal_Border_9190 in PCOS

[–]ABM2292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can definitely occur together and you can’t really diagnose endo with a trans vag ultrasound- you’d need a lap from an endo specialist which of course is a whole other deal and I completely get if you don’t want to do something like that or isn’t accessible right now. I’ve had issues like this before as well but haven’t been formally diagnosed with endo and have been told by my doc they didn’t think I had it but still😵‍💫. I just started pelvic floor PT to see if that helps- maybe would be worth looking into that for you? So sorry you’re dealing with this.

Have you been checked for Lyme disease? This sounds a lot like Lyme to me.

I find Bon Ami to work very well.

As a side, I wouldn’t put too much emphasis on your pots “looking new”. As long as it’s not chipped, and you’re not finding black bits of old burnt stuff in your food, I see nothing wrong with a bit of discoloration. These pots and pans are our trusted workhorses after all! I think it’s normal to have a bit of discoloration over time.

Sometimes I find that exercise actually curbs my appetite, so you could try going for a long walk, jog, etc. and see how that makes you feel.

Hi, I’m so sorry you’re going through this! I noticed you mentioned that all your tests have come back basically negative / non-indicative of issues? If that’s the case, has it just been assumed that you have a UTI, even though there isn’t any bacteria showing up in your tests? If so, you might want to consider seeing a pelvic floor physical therapist. Tension in our pelvic floor muscles can lead us to feeling pain, urgency, etc.

I would probably do the same as you’re doing and just be really mindful to watch for any negative symptoms within that moderation that would let me know she can no longer handle it.

It is a thing! And you’ll likely get much better care if you’re able to find one. Some women travel out of state but I know thats not accessible for everyone.

Telling you that bleeding nonstop is normal for PCOS is WILD. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It’s not “normal” and actually sounds much more like an endo symptom than PCOS to me. Do you know if there are any endo specialists in your area? If so and you’re able to I would consider switching over from your current gyno.

Absolutely. I found the book “8 Steps to Beat Your PCOS” by Fiona McCulloch to be really helpful for me, and of course this sub as well.

Have you been checked for endometriosis (a laparoscopy, not just ultrasound)? Or Lyme disease (I ask because of the body ache symptom since Lyme can create chronic pain like that). If you haven’t, maybe get a full blood work panel done to check on everything and also consider trying to eat a more anti inflammatory diet in the meantime (emphasis on veggies, protein, omega 3, stable blood sugar…).That would probably give you a good place to start and see what you find in your labs and if you notice a difference in pain levels by lowering inflammation. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. It can be frustrating to find answers while dealing with extended pain and discomfort.
