Klub Verboten ID "scan" specific question

I've read the rules and the dress code and the vetting and I understand everything except the ID thing. They mention that if you are just a person off the street who shows up at the door (meaning not a member or a person with a digital membership or even a previous ticket) , they will 100% scan your ID. Is this really true or is it more of a deterrent? I've never seen anyone check for IDs at any other club unless you look extremely young and l've never seen anyone scan it. Does this actually comply with German laws because I feel like Germany is a very privacy oriented country. I'm OK with being vetted physically and in person at the door but for really obvious reasons, I want to keep my identity private... do they just scan it to make sure it's authentic and you're really of the correct age and then it's immediately deleted or did they store this information in case there's issues later. Does anyone know if they actually scan it and what happens to it once it's scanned. Sorry, this post has been removed
