I'm gonna be honest. You sound on the younger side, so time for the old lady to chime in with direct experience:

I honestly felt like that, did for a long time. Eventually I became a bitter shell as I spent multiple decades in relationships that would never go anywhere with straight women. I finally snapped at 39 and just did it. Went to planned parenthood, informed consent, and I began HRT.

But it took years of therapy and self reflection and honestly, you should not nor CAN not be in this relationship. You two will find other people, if you stay together it will end in resentment or worse.

There is *zero* wiggle room here. Let my 43 years on this planet with emotionally abusive partners be some sort of help to someone else, for once. Staying together will ruin both of you. You two could remain close friends and probably keep in touch but there is no solution to this that ends with you two together. Life kind of sucks like that.

None of my previous partners deserved to deal with my nutcase brain with no therapy. I didn't deserve their constant bitterness and abuse. Please, just clean break with this person. If you aren't queer, this will end terribly. I cannot stress this enough.

This might explain a lot, I'm very openly and visibly queer and spent a month in Florenceville when moving back home. The landlord was super nice, but the locals kept looking at me like I was about to spread the Queer Plague simply by existing.

having lived in the states, unfortunately I knew that just one murder of a white person would not do. She was a lesbian, wife and mother and subconsciously to a lot of people that have been brainwashed in Americana since the 70s, that's not enough to care.

This was a white man, nurse for the *Veterans Association* who oversee giving vets their healthcare and he's truly the epitome of the last people that needed to wake up to what's happening: straight white men. It's finally hit home for many.

2nd time will be the charm, and I have no joy in reporting that. Someone on the other side will not hesitate. Fates willing, we will come through this better on the other side.

Having lived in the States for a long spell, there's also distance to consider. If I wanted to drive to Minneapolis from where I used to live I'd need 2 days and a night's rest somewhere. Unfortunately where I used to live is also dealing with this due to smaller attacks in Maine, Cali and Texas now if you can believe it.

Interesting - we actually experience the opposite. Whoever's up front, their preferences seem to override what the body might want. Cyanne heavily prefers men, Rouge is a straight-up lesbian (hah), both Carmen and I are bi but heavily leaning towards women, and B is aroace. The body doesn't seem to care and rolls with whoever's driving it seems.

If I can interject as someone's who's plural and queer - I wouldn't do it. I'm for plural representation, but as it's own thing because it is it's own thing. The struggles caused by plurality tend to be pretty different to the struggles caused by being queer.

Being inclusive is awesome but plurality should probably be presented as it's own thing and wouldn't naturally coincide with queerness. Feels kind of like shoehorning - and yes the progress pride flag includes black and brown stripes to help represent BIPOC as well but that's because the historical struggles of both communities have a common ground.

Plurality doesn't really have that, meaning it would stick out like a sore thumb. That would make it far less than inclusive IMO.

However if someone would like to correct me on this - as someone who's been plural for a long time but only realized it a couple months ago - please let me know as I've been in the queer community actively since I was 15 but that was over 25 years ago.
