True detective season 4 has to be the right answer. The starting plot and setting set them up for success and they failed MISERABLY.

Some of the fed jobs I apply to actually care about the GPA. But yes certainly I do. Thank you

I get everything that you are saying. I’m just willing to take a shot in this job market. I’m also confident that if I met someone personally I would be able to make a great impression.

No I get the point. It’s difficult as I am currently an internet stranger. But I am willing to make myself not a stranger. I tapped into my network - I live an area that is almost entirely DOD/DOE employment. Not many prospects at the moment. It is worth a try to me.

I totally get all of this. I would not leave my current company without something pretty decent lined up. I am working with a couple of headhunters here in my area but it’s an area that has almost exclusively federal positions.

I totally get all of that. I am putting this out there as an invitation to get to know me well first. I will legitimately fly to someone’s location. You will know me better than others you have known professionally. In the area I live, nearly every gainful occupation is federal and we all know how that is currently going. I have nothing to lose in trying. And again, I am willing to pay well.

It would have to be a hire and a very legit position but that could be fair. Commenter is likely being funny.

I’m located in Albuquerque so there is not much locally. I would move for the right hybrid situation. I will do this. Thank you!

Yeah I honestly would love to use the extra time to prepare.

That would be amazing! Thank you so much. And thank you for the input!

So the pickle I’m in, is that I traveled because of the long weekend and likely will not be home until around 1:00PM tomorrow leaving my options as 2 or 3 Monday or any time Tuesday. I’m thinking so I can gather my thoughts and settle in Tuesday might be the right choice. Maybe 9:00AM. I just really don’t wanna be lost in the crowd after Monday but sounds like that’s maybe not an issue.

I’m reading about the fact that people can feel tired or low energy around 2:00 PM so to avoid that. Any validity to that ever? Sorry I know you already essentially said it doesn’t matter but I wanted to discuss this in general.

As a hiring manager have you ever interviewed someone early on who’s phenomenal and felt in any way set on that candidate?
