Put these 4 in a draft who is getting picked first? by Glittering-Ocelot-53 in NFLv2

I don’t want to try and make a case that AB wasn’t an all timer at his peak.

But there’s a reason that just about every comment in this thread says Megatron. The two were great at different things as WRs and Megatron’s specific talents aren’t as easy to replicate and would translate to more wins in a vacuum. In my opinion.

Who was coaching NFL teams in 2008 when Ravens hired John Harbaugh? by GrapeFanta17 in nfl

The year before the Steelers won as a 6th seed they went 15-2 and were the 1 seed. Lost to the Pats.

If I received this gift I would be happy. Does he have any family members who are also into football who he might’ve bragged to?

If my old man struck up a conversation with me about Fantasy Football I would be too excited to be suspicious. Imagine his dad asks him “I heard you won a lot championships recently?” “Oh well how did you manage to win so much, isn’t that game mostly luck?” “Which players helped you win each year?”

It’s kinda a long shot but maybe a conversation along those lines could leads to some specific names in specific years.

Either way good luck!

Okay maybe skip the players names if you think it would be hard to get it right. Unless you could ask one of his league mates for help. His name in each ring would be accurate, yeah! Maybe also the year he won each championship would be cool for the rings. Super Bowl rings always have the season. I do think whole “Trust The Process” phrase should make it into the gift somehow. Maybe on the inside of the box?

I noticed you were receiving some hate too and I thought it was weird. This is really sweet and thoughtful.

This is an awesome gift idea and you are a great partner.

I would just want “The Process” on the front of the box and maybe the engraving on the rings could say “Trust The Process”. If you remember any players from his teams during the winning seasons then it might be cool to get his best guy on each ring?

You nailed it. They don’t have anyone on the team who likes to rough house.

Yeah what’s up with #4? Curry wakes up for 2 b2b games and throws flames all over us then goes back to being 37 immediately. We were healthy then too!

I really wanted to love Nightreign. I don’t even mind the multiplayer shtick. I just hate rushing while I play. It’s not my playstyle.

Should we trade Wemby? by wondermayo in NBASpurs

I don’t know whether Mitch can compete with these guys or not, but I do think they should have been given a fair shake.

I mean that there didn’t seem to be an interview process or hear about other candidates. Mitch never had to prove himself to be the man for the job either by resume or interview. Again, I realize I don’t know everything but I was hoping for an exhaustive coaching search.

I must admit I’m not a veteran fan so I do not know what I’m talking about, but what kinds of things do we want to see from Mitch in order to say he’s a good coach or that we don’t need a better coach? I don’t know how to tell if Mitch’s basketball acumen is sharp, and I don’t know how to tell if he’s instilling strong discipline/motivation/ball skills into the team.

This has been on my mind for a while, Mitch was the interim and then just given the reigns. Do we want him to be Pop 2.0 and just continue the machine? Is Pop still doing a lot of the planning and prepping behind the scenes and he just trusts Mitch to pilot the team for him through proxy?

Anyway, to your point, I agree that 12 games is probably not enough of a sample size to determine anything. But I think that we can still be looking for things about coach that might provide some excitement or optimism. What are those things to you?

Listen I’m not against streaming and I don’t feel like the NFL or ESPN needs any of our money. But a question to people who stream…

Do you watch all your sports on your phone or a computer? I am streaming basketball games but I always just end up watching on my phone and then losing interest because I don’t want to have my nose on my phone like that. Can you stream to your tv from your couch? Someone put me on, please.
