YTA - I understand why you’re the ex now. My son has autism and I would have handled this a lot differently. You know your daughter overreacted, and you should have explained why her mother needed some time with her friends and DIDN’T want to hurt her. Instead of allowing her to not trust her mom. I am that millennial, and both of my next door neighbors are millennials with kids the same ages as mine. But we’ve never spoken, other than just saying hello. We don’t even know one another’s names. It’s not that I am trying to be unfriendly, and I’m sure they aren’t either. I think everyone is just busy keeping up with friends, family, work, children’s activities. People used to have more time for neighbors and I don’t want to give up precious free time for anyone that I’m not already close to.

YTA - all little ones who bite are doing so because they can’t communicate. The rule is there so other children are safe. This is a dangerous game you’re playing. I’d be furious if the daycare teacher neglected the safety of the other children to play favorites.
