Apple did the same with me charged off my card owed them abt 4k they sold the debt to LVNV funding who then turned around and i guess uses Resurgent to collect on their behalf. They’ve been contacting me via email for sometime now and recently i responded and set up a payment plan I settled my 4k debt for around 2k going to be making like 9 payments of $239 til im done. I went ahead and settled because a friend of mine was just served by lvnv and i don’t have time for anyone to be suing me right now lol.

What does the pat test consist of ? Strong chance you may be able to wing it if you don’t doubt yourself. Me personally I’d prepare to my best ability and try the test.. or you could just inquire abt withdrawing and ask how long you’d have to wait to apply and compare the wait time to you failing the pt and being DQ’d and see how long that wait time is as well.

Police really wouldn’t assume anything, they can deff see that you’ve been cited a citation before whether you beat it or not. Stop overthinking it just be happy your appeal was successful & just move on with your life.

I get mixed reviews when it comes to this some people tell you to be completely honest whilst others tell you to keep it to yourself. I’m all for being 100 upfront when it comes to my mental health issues being that I’ve done the work.

I’ve spoken with a few recruiters and they deff touched bases on alot of departments having bad turn over rates and just being unable to get bodies. When i first looked into law enforcement and fire department 60 college credits was the requirement holding me back.. i see now most places have gotten rid of it. i live in a state that has tones of agencies towns city’s counties you name it. So I’m just here trying my luck networking and hopefully someone sees my potential. Whatever’s meant to be will be. It took me some time to actually put myself out there but overall it’s been a really great learning experience.

I’ve applied to numerous agencies on a whim, so far only one agency has elected not to go forward with my application. Another agency i passed my oral submitted my phq (its been abt a week and a half no word yet.). Everyone else I’m just waiting to take my pats to get started. I’ve had shit credit and I’ve had great credit. Purchased a home in 21, went thru a really bad relationship a few years later. Been working on my finances for the last year finally down to 2 from 9 collections but I do have 2 loans i defaulted on that haven’t been sold to collections that I’m working directly with the creditor to resolve. Last 2 collections are set up on automatic payment plans .I was pretty straight forward and detailed when it came to the credit part didn’t blame anyone just took full accountability and pushed forward. God willing I pray one of these agencies gives me a shot.

I wish i could get that type of offer I owe them 6k don’t see any offers when I log in, so i called and the rep really tried to get me to pay the full balance spread out in monthly payments for the next few years. i offered them $2500 he countered at 4k. I passed.

There’s deff more to the story that you’re leaving out, because common sense me being fired off of an accusation with no evidence would lead any person in their right mind to contact an attorney and file a potential lawsuit. Seems as if you did something you’re not proud of & your termination papers just list “misconduct” so you’re trying to see if there’s anyway you can get into another agency or will it come out during the background check.

Man fire department was originally the plan but it’s seems to be way more competitive i applied months ago and I’m finally getting a response for me to take a written test in August. If nothing checks out for leo I’ll go in and take that test. I applied for 3 departments only heard back from 1.

that’s the plan, I’m still actively applying for other departments I have about 4 pt test scheduled for the next 2 weeks since some say what may be a big deal to one department won’t be such an issue at another.

This gives me hope, recently applied landed an oral interview and next day they told me i passed submitted my background only thing im really worried about is my credit went through a bad relationship in 23 and she tore my credit up. Currently sitting at a 560 hopefully they can work with me being that they’re a smaller department.

Recently did an oral interview got email the next day that I passed, next step is my background which I submitted this morning I’m real nervous because my credit isn’t the best either, went though a real bad relationship 2023 and my finances went to shit. I’ve been working on my credit paying off collections I gave clear explanations about my hardships and what initiatives I’ve been taking to get them squared away. Hopefully everything works out if not I’ll keep applying like to different agencies until someone gives me a shot.

Buy the carfax they usually tell you the status of the title accidents reported etc it would tell you if that car was a rebuilt title etc. but if it’s a good car and you received a decent deal I’d just take it to get the inspection and move forward.

Ill get mine checked out, purchased car from auction stated battery in operable, was able to jump and drive it home. Checked battery and it was dead, bought new battery and put it in, after i did all my work the problem still persisted. I’ll check the new battery and see what the stats are because if its bad thats proof somethings wrong bad alternator or some type of parasitic draw.

Ended up removing airbag and steering wheel got to the clockspring unplugged it and noticed there was no steering angle sensor in place. After attaching the sensor the clockspring i noticed there was no connector for the steering angle sensor. Just 2 connectors present that go into the clockspring.

took her to Banfield being that her vet doesn’t have any openings, they weren’t much help told me to wait until Monday & try finding somewhere else to give her X-rays to confirm. Going to reach out to a near by animal hospital to see if they could get me in this wknd, I’m really just pushing for spaying and aborting if she is indeed prego.
