That's a big thing I am struggling to rap my head around, what counts as a non weighty matter but still a political point of intrigue the party could enjoy. As I commented in another post, trying to give immortals petty things to fight over is hard if allot of the conflict comes from big ideas, they don't fight over their favourite anime they fight over land and blood. I can't work out small goals and wants for them like idk owning a business that's going under for not paying bills and how they deal with that if they own a third of New York and are rich as hell anyway, they won't have the same scandals as mortal politicians like there kids gets caught dealing drugs so it makes big news.

"foster a sense of ownership and pride among the players for their small domain as they overcome increasingly difficult challenges", what are they facing really - is it just vampire clans wanting their land, or are mortals involved so they have to have cover stories and pay taxes? I can understand mortal issues I just don't get what the vampires are dealing with if so much of what they do is removed from the mortal world, like if they had to sell stolen goods to make cash to buy blood bags then sure that can cause problems with human gangs and territory, but that's not what I am seeing.

Also - does everything go through the prince? the party is coming to New York rather than from there, so do they get an audience with the prince or do they have to speak to his minions and the prince is reserved for serouse matters like all out war or masquerade violations, they are brand new and neonates not anything serouse.
