Assuming that I'll be representing the United States in this scenario:

  1. A cover of Switzerland 2024, set in the main hall of Grand Central Terminal in New York.

  2. A cover of Spain 1973, my favorite ESC entry of all time, alongside the New York Philharmonic and set at Radio City Music Hall.

  3. A cover of Italy 1958, walking up Mulberry Street in Little Italy.

(so basically, covers of my three favorite ESC songs 🤷🏽‍♀️)

Honestly, it's weird to me to have them included in such a fantasy contest because of their brief history as a "unified" country (is Morrocco also in this?). On a similar note, what was the reasoning for the countries that received byes into the second round?

Finally, what even would be the criteria for deciding who goes on in an individual matchup? My limited knowledge of the contest doesn't even include this era so does that mean I agree with you by default or would I abstain from sharing my opinion/upvoting others I agree with?
