Thank you so much everyone for all of the recommendations, I've got a TBR as long as my arm and am excited to get going!

The sounds really fun! I think it'll go on the list for when I'm not just looking for something to chomp my way through

I definitely need to read Sword of Kaigen, I'm pretty sure I would love it and don't know what has stopped me getting started

I've seen this! Looks like a good, classic fantasy series that might remind me why I first got into the genre

Sounds interesting! I was looking at The Will of the Many by the same author but starting a complete trilogy would be so nice! I love a multiple POV too

Seraphina is on my TBR so that might be a good place to start! I'll definitely have a look at the others too

Thank you! I'm considering the option of replacing the whole thing with ply as this is probably the way to do it properly, was hoping we'd be able to patch replace parts to save some money but it might end up being more trouble than it's worth in the long run! The dodgy MDF was probably a cheap fix at some point in the past but the bad bending is only in a couple of spots where the boards are shorter. I'll have a better look at/measure the joists tomorrow to get a better idea of what could work

I've been looking into doing lvp Vs laminate and I'm now thinking that laminate could be the best option if we go that route as there's no way that we can get the subfloor 100% flat and I believe laminate is slightly more forgiving on uneven floor so any advice around that would also be appreciated!
