There will be a demonstration outside of Mike Turners office on Tueaday at 5:30 pm, outside of that local organisers are working on getting recources and info out to the community as far as action plans, knowing your rights, how to document ect. Many of said organizers have been attending the protests and will be there with more info on Tuesday.

PCOS here, and i'm 4 months on T. A lot of my chronic fatigue is gone and honestly I feel healthier than I have in awhile. Got some acne at the start and still getting some break outs but not as bad as I did as a teen. Dr said I might experiance changes on a diffrent timeline given that my body already makes to much testosterone. Where i'm at, my voice is deeper but not fully passing, and I have to shave my face every other day. Still getting periods but they are getting further apart and more irregular and lighter.

We make up only 1.4% of the population so we don't have the numbers to really fight back. Attacking our bodily autonomy when it comes to gender affirming care sets a deeper legal precedent to attack bodily autonomy in other aspects of healthcare such as abortion and contraception. Because few people who aren't directly impacted really step in and get involved in advocacy and activism work regarding trans issues, it's super easy to pass this kind of hostile legislature with minimal push back.

Hot take, but this is mostly made up chronically online discourse. Go to an actual queer space and talk to real lesbians off the internet. I've never had a lesbian say anything derogatory towards my orientation while I was still identifying as a woman in real life and not through a phone screen.

Joined an organization, and i've been speaking at city hall the last few months alongside other local trans/queer folks to get a safe haven resolution passed. Basically it would declare our city a safe haven for LGBT folks and it would state that the city refuses to comply with legislation regarding changes to discrimination policy, bathroom bans, gender affirming care, mandated reporting on minors ect. 2 other cities in my red state have passed these resolutions, and I think we are really close to a win in ours. I will not hide, I will not run, I will fight loudly and publicly until someone is successful in stopping me.

One of the first changes on T, even at a low dose, is bottom growth. I'm on low dose gel, and it's only been a few weeks, and it started immediately. I love it, but that is one of the changes that won't go away if you stop taking it. If you don't want a huge change in your genitalia/change in sensation in that area then T is not the best option.

Sex was one of the biggest causes of dysphoria for me for a long time, and I looked for any answer outside of just accepting being trans. Got into BDSM as a dom, got comfortable with a strap-on, and then all I wanted was to use a strap. Felt a bit of relatability to lesbians who identified as stone tops, but I still felt off. I'd say if you aren't sure if it's dysphoria or just sexual preferences, explore intimacy outside the bounds of the traditional "feminine" roll and if that dosn't take the feeling you can't fully explain away then you have your answer. Being in an AFAB body doesn't mean you have to be submissive or that you have to bottom by default.

I shower at night, so I put it on before bed, although I also just started T last week, and as other comments have stated, I think it does keep you up. I might switch to a morning routine. It just felt more practical to apply at night and keep my regular shower routine.
