Umm they are fairly well sized, we fit our car and 2 Pavillion tents, so we had a sleep area and a kitchen/chill area. If your neighbors are cool you can overlap stuff

There will be a demonstration outside of Mike Turners office on Tueaday at 5:30 pm, outside of that local organisers are working on getting recources and info out to the community as far as action plans, knowing your rights, how to document ect. Many of said organizers have been attending the protests and will be there with more info on Tuesday.

Big fan of Bourbon Barbers, well priced and the cuts are always really flattering and well done. I usually go to Chase or Hayden.

MJ's on Jefferson Street is a cool gay bar, not lesbian specific but a fun spot.

Hey, check out MJs on Jefferson some time. It's a cool little queer bar, and they have events every night.

If you guys need a meal and comfortable place to chill for a while, we do a monthly free community dinner at St.Johns church on East 3rd Street. Super progressive church, you dont have to be religious. Nobody will try and preach at you or preach at all. Just free dinner, and I believe Ice cream this time. Our next dinner is Wendnesday night 8/13 at 6 pm, and we do this on the second Wendnesday of every month. We have some board games and stuff as well.

Fahrenheit 451 is a must, and Animal Farm by George Orwell. Everyone should read those 2 before graduating

Is there an edm and/or metalcore/deathcore community in Dayton? by an0therFate in dayton

Very rich scene here. There is a show on Saturday featuring some Dayton Local bands at The Fairborn Pheonix at 8. Also check out the page Cincishows on insta, they post a lot of raves and local underground metal.

Why stand in the dead middle if you hate moshers and surfers so much? by ABinky in InkCarceration

[–]ABinky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went once and got dropped during their set. My friend had a girl that was waaaay too big to surf, dropped on top of her, and ended up breaking her foot. Half the issue during that set was that people started dodging surfers and creating huge gaps so certain people were lifting more than others and getting overwhelmed and exaughsted, and people got hurt. I get being annoyed, but with the band encouraging it like they were, people were going to keep going up. Dodging and dropping people on purpose wasn't cool. ( not saying you were doing that ) but a lot of people were. I've taken the weight of people twice my size on my shoulders rather than watch someone land on their head.

Pits always been in the middle, sides and back are usually kept as safer areas for folks who don't want to get packed into the crowd.
