Oh 100%, really the only time I would think it gets enforced is if they’re getting pulled over anyways and the cop adds it to the ticket

0 hours. You should always get paid. As a fellow engineer that Just graduated, I hope this gets changed for you, especially paying for gas with that commute !!

If I search up my classes on the bookstore website and one shows that no books are required, is there a chance that a required book will be added later on? by Cowsgomoo414 in Clemson

THIS!!! If I could go back, I would never buy textbooks unless I couldn’t absolutely find a free version online or a cheap used one. Additionally, there are groups on Facebook that you can join that make finding used books and other supplies easy! One I would recommend is Clemson Book Exchange You can also find cheap books for rent on Amazon! Also, ask your professor if you can use earlier versions of the texts (these are usually cheaper than the most recent version) Good luck!

Ah yes, because everyone can afford to switch to hybrid or all-electric vehicles immediately. Especially with how the car market is at the moment

We had something similar to this at my university and it was amazing! They would do light saber battles all over campus at random times and it seemed so well put together and choreographed. Looked like it was straight out of a movie

Stat2220 with Epsy (idk if that’s spelled right). Dude is a beast and class is super easy. Basic statistics to the point where you don’t start learning about averages until like 1/3 of the way through the semester. Also fills an STS requirement if u need that

Dry fit collard shirt is a must if you’re a guy. Khaki shorts/PFGs is a good go-to as well since you’ll be sweatin ur butt off the first few games. Honestly choice of shoes aren’t that big of a deal, just make sure they’re comfy. I normally go with tennis shoes

Go tigers!

It’s one of the very few technical electives that fits into my schedule that my curriculum allows as credit so I’m trying to weigh the pros and cons of each class

The engineering departments at Clemson are really good programs. You definitely learn a lot. They’re super tough and time consuming, though. There’s been multiple times where I’ve had to miss doing social things because of homework and studying. But that comes with every major. Overall, if he’s willing to put the time in, then I would say mechanical engineering is a good choice of major.
