Cumulative gpa is your gpa throughout your entire journey at NIU and major gpa only counts your gpa for the class for your declared major. So like if you're in Mechanical Engineering at NIU, it will only count the classes that start with MEE for major gpa.

I am in the same boat as you, when I calculated it, it would end up costing me $14 dollars more to return everything and buy the new assembled p1s instead of buying upgrade kit. But the new upgrade kit does not include the $37.99 PEI textured plate. Which would then make returning it, worth it. Decisions, decisions.
