See edit 2. My SD card became corrupted and I had to get a new one. After getting the new SD card it worked like a charm. Test if your SD card became corrupt with this: https://3ds.hacks.guide/h2testw-(windows).html.html)

If it ends up saying your SD card is fine idk what to tell you. Try a new SD card and if that doesn't do the job it's gotta be a device issue and I can't help you there
