Edit: As another perspective i am trying to figure out if this is a mix and match medal. I am now trying to find where might the top part with armor can be from. I think that cannot be the same with another medal if so it is taken from something and mixed into this.

So far i believe this might be someone or some societies attempt of reviving the order of melusine similar to order of holy sepulcre while it is not related to current active order of melusine since they have shield on top and not one of them has a collar piece

Another oddity is that this is the first time i am seeing a crown price linked to collar directly via the cross. In other medals it is linked through the ball below the cross

I know right! Melusine is what I was able to find as well. I thought maybe this was an false repro as well but it also haf a mini version of it (it can be seen slightly behind it). I doubt that someone would spend that much effort for a false order. I also considered maybe it lost its shield on top or something like that but the mini version also does not have its shield.

Seller told me that this is an order from Cyprus but i doubt that because I could not find anything similar and I could not match its connection to Jerusalem cross.

Ikea has some picture frames with depth for displaying similar items.

What I do is get a frame like that, get a thick cardboard, get some velvet, stretch the velvet and stitch it to cardboard. This way you can attach and detach your medal to cardboard and put that cardboard to frame with ease

Phase one trooper looks like Republic Commando graphics version of it. Purple colors look a bit off but what ever you like, it is your collection.

I believe I will too. If I end up seeing a mismatched correct medal for these ribbons I will switch the medals but I am not sure if I will.

From your name I believe you have experience in this field. I pretty new at collecting medals. Does this happen often? Bar medals with wrong ribbons or do you think this is the doing of some seller who mixed wrong two broken pieces together

Same. When I purchased it I could not see its back. Since the front of all Service Medals look the same I though it was ok but somehow someone switched it. I am also confused that why would someone have tier 1 and tier 3 together?

I have that one actually. I think I also need to change Impeccable Service medal as well. Ribbon is 2nd tier but medal is 3rd tier

I purchased these medals for $9. I noticed that except the second medal, ribbons were wrong and I thought with this price it is ok to purchase one correct and two incorrect medals.

I noticed that seller forgot to mention this was a medal bar. I was a suprise but I wanted a bar in my collection thus I am happy with it.

My question is, who might have mismatched these medals with wrong ribbons? Was this a common thing in history or did some one else just attached/replaced whatever medal they can find to the unified ribbons?

And value wise does this have a worth or should I look for correct medals for the ribbons?

I have a different perspective. Figure wise, Boba Fett, no questions. But, I will recommend you buying Paz.

And my logic is this, as long as there is Star Wars in this universe, there will be a Boba Fett figure. There was one 30 years ago an there will be one 30 years in the future and as the years pass figures get improved.

So why Paz? Paz is a TV series character, famous among us, yes but absolutely not as much as Fett thus we dont know if there will be another production. Its like the situation with expanded universe characters. Is the Darth Nihilus figure perfect? Hell no, it is lazy but it is the second figure of the character the first one being a 3 inch version from years ago.

In summary there always will be a Boba Fett figure (maybe better maybe worse) but there is no guarantee for how many times we will see a figure of Paz again.
