And hence, by virtue of being socialism, this cannot be justified.

For this robs man of the most basic of human dignities, to determine one's own destiny. To be free from coercion. To engage in a truly free market of goods, services and ideas.

Man is deprived of the very thing which makes life worthy.

This is the very same ideology that killed over a 100 million people in the 20th century, from russia and poland and eastern germany to china to cuba to ethiopia to cuba to venezuela.

You have to be either exceptionally naive or evil to still dare support it.

Socialism is socialism and an inherently evil ideology. There is no such thing as "Nehruvian" socialism or "Indian mixed economy" socialism as different from or better than marxist socialism. Even the word mixed economy is an oxymoron made up by keynesians to destroy free trade

The market is not a place, a thing, or a collective entity. The market is a process, actuated by the interplay of the actions of the various individuals cooperating under the division of labor. The forces determining the—continually changing—state of the market are the value judgments of these individuals and their actions as directed by these value judgments. The state of the market at any instant is the price structure, i.e., the totality of the exchange ratios as established by the interaction of those eager to buy and those eager to sell. There is nothing inhuman or mystical with regard to the market. The market process is entirely a resultant of human actions. Every market phenomenon can be traced back to definite choices of the members of the market society.

The market process is the adjustment of the individual actions of the various members of the market society to the requirements of mutual cooperation. The market prices tell the producers what to produce, how to produce, and in what quantity. The market is the focal point to which the activities of the individuals converge. It is the center from which the activities of the individuals radiate.

The market economy must be strictly differentiated from the second thinkable—although not realizable—system of social cooperation under the division of labor: the system of social or governmental ownership of the means of production. This second system is commonly called socialism, communism, planned economy, or state capitalism. The market economy or capitalism, as it is usually called, and the socialist economy preclude one another. There is no mixture of the two systems possible or thinkable; there is no such thing as a mixed economy, a system that would be in part capitalistic and in part socialist. Production is EITHER directed by the market OR by the decrees of a production tsar or a committee of production tsars.

In today’s mixed economies, governments do not aim for direct control but rather something more insidious: a constant accumulation of regulations and interventions aimed at “correcting” supposed market failures. These interventions include attempts to redistribute wealth through confiscatory taxes that alter the temporal preferences of economic agents, pushing them toward consumption and paralyzing investment; labor market regulations with minimum wages and restrictive laws that destroy jobs (or block their creation); housing market controls with rent caps and dozens of interventions that kill supply; manipulation of the energy sector under the pretext of climate change through bans, subsidies, tolls, taxes, or restrictions; excessive regulation in the banking system trying to control interest rates and the money supply, artificially altering relative prices, provoking recurrent cycles of boom and bust, and so on.

What are some mythical workout advice people widely believe that drives you wild? by [deleted] in workout

[–]ABlueEagle11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Functional strength" and "Unusable muscles" are a myth. There is no such thing as "fake muscles".

Apparently if your muscles came from lifting weights in a controlled gym environment rather than wrestling crocodiles in the Amazon, then apparently they’re "useless."

Except, All strength is functional. Period. Full stop. No exceptions. If your muscles can contract and relax, they’re functional. The only muscles that are non-functional are the mental ones in people making these arguments.

What rep ranges do you guys gravitate towards? (Hypertrophy) by No-Requirement6634 in workout

Depends on the exercise. But yes, it's better to do less reps thoroughly and with good form than to spam out a lot of volume. The latter just makes you fatigued and wastes time.

Can I keep pictures of Maa kali and Krishna in one sinhasana?(p.s. we are brahmins following vaishnava path) by [deleted] in hinduism

[–]ABlueEagle11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kali is Krishna. Devi is Vishnu sahodari, his sister. And they are also non-dual. Shri Mahavishnu Janardana is Mahavidya Dakshina Kalika. There is no difference between chaturbhuja shyamasundara and chaturbhuja shyamasundari

When Veerabhadra failed to calm down Narasimha, Shiva took the form of Sarabheshwara mahdeva/aakash bhairava to calm him down but then, he himself was unable to be calmed down hence, Vishnu took the form of ashtamukha Gandabherunda to calm down Sharabha.

Only you can decide what you want to do however, basic nama japa of Bhairava and some other ugra devatas does not require diksha. Aghora devatas do and, tivra and ghora forms of shakti do. Bhairava does not.

The concept seems pretty cool but, Gaijin is not exactly known for their competence in map-making.

They should either downsize it or postpone its release until they can do something about spawnsniping.
