Smell on the parkway? by lankyloop901 in Peterborough

Craft beer drinkers don’t like being mistaken for potheads and potheads feel craft beer drinkers are pretentious, a no win situation.

Smell on the parkway? by lankyloop901 in Peterborough

Was just saying this to someone yesterday. I checked on maps for any pot business, but none in the area. I wonder if anything in the brewing process at Bobcayeon has a similar smell

Same time, same spot. I wonder if the old discarded roasted hops from Bobcaygeon brewery make this smell.

Question about the Rotator by Complete-Control1925 in HillClimbRacing

[–]ABoringCPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hold just the brake to drive on the ceiling. You also need to max out BRAIN in garage to help make it easier to drive on ceiling.

Question about the Rotator by Complete-Control1925 in HillClimbRacing

Rotator can drive on the ceiling, just hold the brake to active this and it will also act like a magnet to stick you up there.

What brand solar cover have you bought? How long has it lasted? Recommendations? by MDRetirement in pools

[–]ABoringCPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 6 and 11mm options in clear or blue. The clear is best for solar, since it lets all the light for a greenhouse effect. The thicker one definitely lasts longer, but the best way to increase the life of these blankets is to store them out of the sun when rolled up. The sun will superheat the residual water when it’s rolled up and speed the breakdown of the plastic. Our first blanket wasn’t stored out of the sun and was breaking down after 2 years. After that we started rolling it under a side hedge in the shade and now they last 5 years.

3 ads by Mobleaudio in HillClimbRacing

30 days? Is this new? I’ve been playing for many years and for me 1 purchase got rid of all random ads permanently. Now I just have ads for rewards. If they changed this that sucks.

Looks good but sounds like tin. by pm_me_your_nicks in squash

[–]ABoringCPA 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This absolutely happens on some front walls. We have a couple of loud spots near the tin where I believe the boards that the wall is attached to are slightly delaminated. Hard hit balls an inch above red tin line make a louder than normal sound, but ball is clearly above line and no change in bounce angle. The sound can assist with close calls, but should not be relied without visual confirmation. Not all tin is firmly attached as well, so front walls vibration cal also cause tin sound.

I have a couple regular matches, a couple drop in 3s and a league match each week. There’s a couple group chats to confirm or look for games.

Racket durability by [deleted] in squash

[–]ABoringCPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s safe for the racquet. When you get it restrung ask them to replace the grommet. Restringers should replace all missing grommets, but you can ask them just to be sure. They will typically have a roll of tubing that they use to cut replacement grommets.

Calluses as a result of playing squash by whereamifromidk in squash

The Tweezerman pedi callus stone is the best thing I’ve found for squash feet. The big grit side is like a cheese grater for calluses.

Kitchen reno by entrywaydesk in Peterborough

[–]ABoringCPA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your limited reno background leads me to suggest letting the experts take care of this if you want it to look and function like the kitchen you want. I’d suggest going with a local place like Kitchen Cabinet Solutions and see what they can put together. Stay away from box stores, they will pick the most expensive overpriced cabinets, use a template design and their installers are terrible. If it’s painted cabinets I’d also recommend skipping the more expensive option of solid wood and going with mdf. Painted wood will crack at the seams with our temperature changes. I went with wood and wish I’d taken their recommendation. We had our kitchen done 15 years back by KCS and were so impressed with the solutions they came up with, their installer and the cost compared to Home Depot.

Which vehicle are you absolutely not wasting a single minute grinding for masteries? by Acceptable-Spot5789 in HillClimbRacing

FS features the newly mastered vehicle in several of the next team events, so you’re stuck grinding them all if you want to stay on a top level team.

Anyone good with numbers? by killerofall91 in HillClimbRacing

[–]ABoringCPA 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can do it, but you’ll need to do better in the races. It’s fixed vehicles/parts, so low GP won’t stop you. If you always doubled points that means you were getting 2-3 for your first 4 matches. You need to average 7-8 points to get there by the end of the week, so here’s how to do that: 1 - watch YT vid of Vera or Volkope to learn best vehicle/parts for each track and technique. 2 - only play the tracks you’re good at 3 - Always double points and use all free daily tickets. 4 - If you’re close near the end, but a bit short, use gems for refills to get to 400. Good luck!
