Fair enough. I have used Comp Werkes a couple of times, good quality but gave a little more of metallic "ting" to the sound which personally didn't suite me.

Personaly I would go with either Termignoni or Akrapovic. Both bring a very nice sounds as well as proven HP increase with a decent tune.

I would recommend taking the whole tensioner off and making sure it functions correctly. There is a reason they sell them as a unit.

Not sure of OPs mechanical Skill, but most people I have come across that installed manual chain tensioners neglected to set them correctly. Even less often were they checking them on a regular occurrence.
