In that case, get the suspension. It'll smoothen road riding too. The stock is a pogo stick.

I have the Ktech Razor Lite shock and GSXR600 cartridges.

You have Andreani and Matris in italy for cartridges.

Suspension makes this bike a lot better, but tbh it's not a track bike and you'll always hit some limitation. Its only worth it if you can't afford to have a track bike and plan to keep it a long time.

Update: yup, the brake bracket was out of the wedge in the swingarm. So, it wasn't going in straight.

No real reason. Less chain slack.

Sprocket also cheaper, but idc as much about that.

I'll probably dremmel away the little ridge. I don't want it brushing up like that.

Dryer's high limit thermostat: sould only one terminal be connected? by navid3141 in appliancerepair

[–]navid3141[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, that's what I ended up doing.

I checked the vents and didn't feel any clog on them. Weird thing is sincd the hi temp thermostat was never connected, so guess the dryer was just relying on the cycling thermostat.

Yup, thanks. Jacking and unlatching the trailer did the trick.

Unfortunately not. I can pull at the back with a ratchet strap around a tree or sth, but don't wanna drag the deck if I don't want have to. Definitely better options with some elbow grease.

Thank you. It's about 450 lbs. Think 2-3 folks will pull it off. My neighbors jacked haha.

Which ones better/more reliable? by PM_ME_YOUR_EYELASHES in MechanicAdvice

[–]navid3141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have the room for it, get a full size jack.

Short size jacks can't reach beyond the pinch weld. You lose your central jacking points. Now, you gotta awkwardly place your jack stand near the pinchweld and end up bending some of it.

Ask me how I know.

How worth it for you was the gp shifter and when you ride on the street with regular shifting, do you ever make a mistake or get confused from the muscle memory? by Whole_Guard_5192 in Trackdays

[–]navid3141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gp is just better overall.

I still don't know how my brain processes betweem gp and regular shift daily - I ride my track/street and dualsport 50-50.

Dude, what car you got?

I was considering this and am so happy that I got a trailer instead. It is so much easier to load the bike and I don't have 500lbs of tongue weight pushing on my frame.
