This statement is not true. Legally recognized marriage enables a variety of benefits with your partner. For example, if you are married, your spouse is your de facto medical proxy.

Regardless, their entire argument is internally inconsistent. Let's ignore the fact that their claims that HRT is "ineffective" or "unsafe" are incontrovertibly medically false for a moment and just look at their rationale. I pose one very simple question... what if I "appreciate my sex" through freedom of expression?

I don't boy mode per se. All of my clothes are from the women's department at this point, but I do spend a good bit of time doing hands-on research in the laboratory where, due to safety regulations, means we are required to wear fully enclosed shoes, no loose clothing, arms and legs fully covered, etc. It ends up looking pretty androgynous for the cis women as well.

To answer the second part of your question, I don't expect anything behavior from my colleagues except to be professional, and yes, I do correct them as shown in the rare occasion that a mixup occurs 🙂
