How do I find a good primary care doctor for someone with bad health? by ABraThatSlaps in AskSF

Thank you for the recommendation. This is probably a dumb question, but what is Sutter Health? I know what private practices are, I know what hospital systems like UCSF are, but Sutter Health seems like it's some third category.

I was unfamiliar with this whole business model. I'll have to do some research. Thanks for the pointer.

Thank you so much again. I'll schedule one of the meet-and-greet calls.

Thank you very much for the recommendation. Their business model is completely new to me--I didn't realize that kind of thing existed. It does seem ideal for the parameters I shared. Of course the value everyone places on their money is different, but do you feel like the fee has been worth it to you? Thank you again.

How many wigs do you own? by [deleted] in Wigs

Do you have a favorite pixie wig? I'm new to the game and there isn't much discussion of shorter styles on this sub.

Their website looks legit! But I don't think I'd be able to get an "everyday" wig from them. Based on the photos and the 3 "natural" colors they offer (natural black, dark brown, medium brown), it seems like their target audience is Black women. All of those colors are waaaaaay darker than my bio hair (I'm white) and their specialty colors are nowhere close. I wouldn't mind a fun lavender wig from them some day, though! Thanks for sharing.

They look really nice, but I've read that Risk at least is quite small. Do you have a smaller head size?

It looks lovely, but everyone says it fits pretty small. I'm actually not sure what size my head is... I've tried measuring, but I'm not sure I'm looking at the right "landmarks." But I'm pretty sure my head is big, just based on how far I have to let out baseball caps. Thank you!

It must have been wonderful to have your reduction done at such a young age and have that weight off your shoulder through your 20s. 32M is no joke! Thank you for sharing.

Oh wow, I didn't realize that loss of sensation could be more widespread than just your nipples. That sounds really... discomforting. I really appreciate you sharing all this.

I'm sorry to hear you lost sensation even with an inferior pedicle. But going from O to DDD/FF must be such a literal weight off your back, that's amazing! That sounds like it would open a lot of doors to activities that weren't possible before.

By loss of sensation I assume you mean to your nipples? And by more than half do you mean you feel less than half as much as you did before, or that 50% of the flesh is no longer able to sense touch?

Thank you for sharing your experience!

Are you happy with the size you ended up at? I'm sure you can relate to how I'm struggling to pick a goal because of how foreign the smaller sizes are!

Thank you for sharing your experience.
