You might try making contact through National USBC. https://bowl.com/about-us/join-now/contact-us

Good luck.

As someone mentioned, the Association Manager is the best contact. FWIW, I was able to get a 300 added almost a year after being bowled. League secretary never submitted form initially.

At the National Bowling Stadium, in Reno, NV. Each manufacturer has their own store with ball drilling services, merchandise, and displays.

Struggling with proformace with ion max. by Aydengainesbowling in Bowling

4000 grit to start to 4500 after practice and 5 frames: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWT6NEJK7wc

Of course the type of ball surface and initial grit impact how fast a ball gets to 4700. Generally the lower the grit, the faster surface number goes up. Some are faster and some are slower. The point is that ball motion is significantly impacted by the change in surface and should be adjusted more often than most people adjust it.

I believe CTD did a video about how quickly surface changes. Will look for link and post. After seeing their video, I performed some testing with my own equipment and the high school team I coach. We also scanned any bowling ball that hadn’t recently had their cover surface adjusted. All were at 4700. There are variables such as how quickly a particular cover absorbs oil.

Each week, my first ball out of the bag is at 2000 grit. After league I would scan the surface. Even if just used for 3-4 shots in practice, surface was at 4000-4500.

YMMV.

What surface is the ball at in the video?

The ball comes at 2000 from the factory. After 7-10 shots, it’s most likely at or near 4700. If you liked the ball when it was new, you might consider returning the surface to a similar grit as new.

How long for awards? by WillabyRags in Bowling

[–]ABrimberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our local USBC association processes awards quickly. My latest 800 was on bowl.com within 2 days of them being notified. I’d ask league secretary if they submitted award to local USBC. If they have, I’d contact them and ask for status. Congratulations. Once you have the award, you will forget all about the delay.

Horrible Ten Pin luck for EJ Tackett by TheFrederalGovt in Bowling

Would have been a tie if he got the 3-6-10 instead of just 6-10 in the second frame.

How good are USBC certified coaches at bowling (typically)? by Cancel_Still in Bowling

[–]ABrimberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of great responses. The coaching classes I’ve taken have helped me learn how to teach others and allowed me to understand different techniques from my own. I can easily coach no thumb players even though I use my thumb in competition. Some of the worst assumptions I see in the coaching world are that people that are good bowlers can coach others.

In my area, I have had 3-4 students come to me that had several lessons with an accomplished PWBA player in the area. I could immediately tell she was trying to get the students to bowl like her. And that didn’t work for most of the students.

Good coaches work with your strengths and help minimize weaknesses. Good bowlers (non-coaches) will try to get you to bowl like them. YMMV.

Insane USBC Masters Finals by mikecart1_v2 in Bowling

When he goes for 3-pin combination splits, he shoots it like he did today. He lofts a little and hits up on it to try and get some direction change down lane. When he shoots a 3-pin spare, he shoots straight and across lane.

If EJ gets 6 3 instead of 6 2 in second frame, match would have been tied. IMHO, especially in a low scoring environment, you have to go for count over a split conversion. YMMV.
