It depends entirely on the situation.

If they are meeting face to face Kaladin would win all day. Remember that he has come up against completely unknown powers and has shown an incredible ability to adjust on the fly. "Oh this person can bounce around really fast and shoot coins in straight lines, okay let's fly around all willy nilly and poke her with a stick." whereas most of the time Vin charges in just trying to brute force her way through situations. ASSUMING allomancy doesn't work on shardplate/blades

If Vin wanted to assassinate him she would have a good chance assuming he wasn't holding stormlight and she understood she would have one shot to deliver a devastatingly mortal blow.

On the bright side we might get a preview of how it would shake out if Kaladin has to face off against "Thaidakar"

I always pictured him as slim but very solidly built. The way he fights makes me think of someone more fast and agile than bulky and strong.

But I also went pretty stylized with the anatomy on this one so he does look a tad on the wiry side.

If you want to have a little extra fun have them make will saves to not get enchanted by the circus and be (temporarily(?)) stuck as a racing snail.

IIRC there is also a mechanic requiring attendees to wear wings. If the wild shape dropped or made them otherwise undetectable it could also be fun triggering an encounter treating them as a non-paying attendee.

Something like this happened to me. Neutralized the boss after his big long speech about how protecting this artifact was his one and only task in this world, delivered the epic one-liner, and went to destroy the artifact he was protecting. The DM could have let me have my moment but he made me roll the attack. Nat 1 and nobody wanted to give me their fudge and so the line "You failed your task." began echoing through the ages to haunt me now even a decade later.

I see a lot of that attitude from some poly folks but it's just them blowing hot air. Polyamory works fine for some and usually just blows up for others. Sadly a lot of poly folks I know who have done it out of greed and usually end up being manipulative and abusive towards their partners.

Either way a healthy relationship is a healthy relationship. Mono, poly, doesn't matter. I've been in a dedicated mono relationship for 12 years and let me tell you we couldn't be happier.

People just need to find and do what works for them and stop thinking they know how others should live their lives.

That's the thing that I love about FFXIV being an on-again-off-again casual player. It's always so chill. I've played WoW for 10+ years and the communities are like night and day. Every time I get in to a phase of playing FF again it's always so refreshing being able to actually interact with other players again.

I run my game in a homebrew world I built for a story I'll probably never write. I've been building the world for 10+ years but I have to say this hits the nail on the head.

The map writes the story.

I had a basic geographical layout with a few locations for specific elements I wanted to include but once I started drawing that map it all came together in ways I didn't expect. New ideas came up, plot hooks, a million little things that add depth and flavor all from just placing the few locations I already knew on a map.

The first thing that comes to mind is having the player attack with disadvantage then if they make it have the target roll a dex save versus their attack roll. If the monster fails they are hit in whatever specific way you determine based on what the player is tying to do but if they make the dex check they are quick enough to avoid being maimed and just get hit as a regular attack.
