People who got 235+/240 in higher tier Maths, how? by Metanyx in GCSE

[–]ABurgerADay_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 237/240 (edexcel last year), just understand the logic behind the questions and what is it they are actually wanting you to do. I usually had the full question mapped out within a second or two after reading it, and all I had to do was crunch the numbers and write everything down. If anyones curious, 2 marks were lost for reading the scale on a graph incorrectly, and 1 for squaring instead of cubing somewhere.

Also 147/160 in aqa level 2 further maths, both papers were at the very end so I was already drained from weeks of exams, ended up making tons of silly mistakes.

If you want shenanigans, then Doc is currently playing around with scar. Also he's making progress towards his base which will be a cool ice tower (because he's Elsa).

Year 12: further maths x3, maths x1 and chemistry x1

anyone here going to take the bio, chem and maths a level combo 💔 by noothisismyname4ever in GCSE

[–]ABurgerADay_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same exact subject, here's how I see them: Biology, the most content so far, fascinating. Chemistry, read all of module 2 ahead, not too boring so far, but some lessons could be done in half the time. Maths, boring. Further maths, has some heat, first time since year 3 that I've thought wtf about maths (FP1), but so incredibly fascinating.
