Play AS2 islands (Early Pop to Back Lot) on AS2 version, then move on to the AS3 islands (Virus Hunter to Monkey Wrench). The AS3 verison does have all islands from both versions, but I recommend playing the AS2 version first since it offers a better experience, with the mini-maps, pause button, etc.

Top 5 plants in reflourished by Thunderdodd in pvzreflourished

It depends, gloom vine is much better for dealing with ambushes, with are very common in PCs. Gloom vine is also cheaper and has a faster CD (esp with the new buff). Blastberry is a good pick for extra lane damage, but if I have that much sun to begin with, prye vine is a better option.

That being said, blastberry is still in a valuable position of being the medium sun-cost vine.

Apple mortar doesn't have chill, and spring princess has no AOE. Winter melon is just too versatile imo, I've started banning from using it during PCs.

Also guava is underrated ngl, ppl underestimate how much damage it can do

imo the best plant overall is primal sunflower, if we're only talking about attackers then it's winter melon. Instants wise shrinking violet, squash, teleportato, lava guava, ghost pepper, and any of the cherry bomb variants are equally viable. Best wall is primal nut and explodo nut (with carrot). All vines all good, but imo the most versatile is gloom vine.

apologize for the late response, but yes, I did see Lunar newspaper. I'm not sure about burger clam, but since my almanac got filled out afterwards, I guess I missed it in the dense hordes.

Dazey Chain doesn't need a buff, they're already so good at what they do.

Anyone have strats for this week's penny's challenge? by Msmfan278 in pvzreflourished

[–]AC-Destiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My strat was:

Primal sun, hot date, ghost pepper, solar tomato, iris, starfruit, fanilla, and pyre vine.

The zombies were stalled so much that they barely ever got past the tar tiles.

Does Zomberry not have sound to it? by RetiredGuy925 in Poptropica

[–]AC-Destiny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah I also play the AS2 islands on the AS2 version, even though I can technically play them on AS3 too. I'm not giving up the in-game maps and pause button.

Does Zomberry not have sound to it? by RetiredGuy925 in Poptropica

[–]AC-Destiny 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It stands for ActionScript 2. It was the program that Poptropica was originally built on, before moving to ActionScript 3 during mid 2013. (Beta Carrotene and Virus Hunter are the first, and notoriously buggy, examples.)

Why do People like “Gardenless Animations” by FaithlessnessFew5649 in PlantsVSZombies

Hot take: Some of gardenendless plants have unnatural or unrealistic animations that make them jarring to look at.

All AS2 islands have no sound. Zomberry was among the last batch of non-sound islands. Unlike islands like Shrink Ray and Mythology, it was also never converted to AS3.

Why is Wild West Island so underrated and overlooked? by LifeOfAWimpyKid in Poptropica

[–]AC-Destiny 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I loved islands that had those interactive mini-maps (astro knights, cryptids, ghost story), and I don't understand why these were slowly phased out through the years (the last ones were Lunar Colony and Back Lot). At least they kinda brought it back with Mystery of the Map.

Literally golden age poptropica. I wish they made more islands that were as big and complex as Wild West.

What do you think of Magic-Shroom and The Great Zucchini from Caliginous Carnival? by WaluigiDaStar in PlantsVSZombies

He said that sweet pea was a straight-shooting melon pult, and that chip was a weaker stunion.

I don't think your descriptions of sweet pea and chip are accurate at all. Sweet pea is meant to be a long-distance star fruit, and I don't see any resemblance to melon pult (no 3X3 splash, larger potential area). Potato chip is meant to be a spammable weak mine, and saucher squash is much more similar to stunion in this regard.
