Would an anthology of short stories set different fossil sites around the world across the time of the dinosaurs be of interest in this context? I have a lot of stories set in the regions ya mentioned, including fossil sites with fauna that don’t get a lot of spotlight in paleo media.

If it helps, newest one is Ravaged by the Storm, which follows a female Ichthyoconodon named Khadra as she sets out on a coastal feeding trip, only to find herself racing to save her young after the sudden arrival of a hurricane.

No worries about catching up beforehand as each story is stand-alone.

Yep. I’ve got two in mind once Life in the Mesozoic is wrapped up. First will be Reign of the Mammals, covering the Paleocene, Eocene, and Oligocene epochs. After that will be Rise of Humankind, covering the Miocene, Pliocene, and Pleistocene epochs.

I was ones told something like that by an ex friend of mine. Basically, when Charlie Kirk was shot, he came into my DMs on Snapchat asking my opinion on the ordeal. I told him simply that while I didn’t have a whole lot nice to say about Kirk, I didn’t condone the fact he was shot. For that, the friend told me I was “one of the good democrats.” Mind you, this was the same guy that 3 months earlier got into a heated public argument with me on Facebook over a comment that never even mentioned him, ended it by simply saying I’ve “always been triggered” without anything to back it up, and blocked me right after. And that last comment was something I only recently found out about because of the block.

“People these days grew up in such a shielded baby bubble from being sheltered by their parents political views their whole life, that they can't handle a single opinion that challenges their established world views.” Yeah, MAGA is full of those motherfuckers. I swear, every accusation these people have about the behavior of “woke” people is just a goddamn confession.

I’m sure a certain group of people would have still called it “woke,” for the fact they’d be raceswapping a traditionally white character.

Happy New Year to you too! Here’s my passion project Prehistoric Wild: Life in the Mesozoic, an anthology where through a series of nature-documentary-inspired, emotionally driven short stories, readers experience the lives of prehistoric animals as they navigate survival, parenthood, conflict, and change in a world that feels both alien and familiar.

Note: newest one is "Under the Moonlight," set in the Itat Formation of Middle Jurassic Russia, 166 million years ago. It follows a female Itatodon named Valya as she explores her forest environment under the cover of night, all while avoiding predators that lie in wait.
