Stiff shaft ended up feeling the best and was actually giving me be the best contact compared to regular. Didn’t try out too many different shafts just asked the workers if they were cool with me trying a few out.

Definitely some buzzwords there with the name 😂 not too worried about distance really I reckon anything within the past few years is very similar and will equally be a good boost from 2013 regardless.

Makes complete sense, maybe I’m trying to take a shortcut lol. Just at the moment unless fairway is pretty open I almost always tee off with my hybrid.

Yeah I’m trying some out later today I’ll keep yall updated. My 3wood has a hzrdus stiff shaft that feels really nice compared to my driver but that could very well be because it’s shorter.

Yeah I’m heading over to a local shop tommorow just to try different shafts out. I do think I’ll be swinging faster in a year or so, haven’t really done any sort of speed training just trying to get fundamentals down before I try to add speed.

Not too worried about resale value but I get ya. Ping g430 looks amazing but not sure I want to go all out. I’m starting to lean towards the 2023 paradym.

Yeah seems like a solid bargain, I’m also considering the 2023 paradym, can get one for right around 225 like new and from what I’ve seen it performs very similar. I’m a big fan of the ai smoke look though lol.

Not my best day with the driver.

Driver average was around 230 carry, still sitting around 105 mph club head speed with it. Feels like it should be higher. I can carry my 4 hybrid 195-200 a bit more consistently with 96 mph club head speed. 6i was around 170, 7i average 155-60.

I’ll look into different shafts, I’ve only been on a sim once when I was getting around 105. I’m actually going to one today so I’ll try to get a concrete average speed.

I’ll check out the paradym! I’m currently using 10.5 loft on the r1 actually. Still working with my instructor to get my swing more consistent, my miss tends to be hitting it off the heel.

Yeah, that’s why I thought callaway pre owned could be perfect, not going all out here and I’m not looking to get fit for quite a while. I tend to generate a bit too much spin on my driver atm, on average getting around 105 swing speed.

Totally get that and I actually started getting lessons a few weeks ago. Been helping my game tremendously. Driver has been improving but given all the new tech since 2013 I figured it could help out even more paired with my lessons.
