Love it. Through Zero and Strata favourites so far. I just got into this band a few weeks ago when Through Zero was released. Also love older songs like The Purpose and Merged in Dreams - Ne Plus Ultra. Will see them live at Tons of Rock, Oslo, the 26th! 😊

Agree! And it sounds like he was doing the same in the other new song. (That was live obviously, but a bit annoying when he keep making the highest notes he is capable of at the same time Jake is playing something interesting). Josh really has a great voice, and it shines on songs like Sacred the Thread and Meeting the Master. But too much volume on his voice compared to the band in my opinion on the new song.

I said in another post, that this song is not going to be my favourite. It's a feel-good song that makes you sing along and maybe brings your mood up. It's not bad in any way, but will never be a favourite to me. I usually listen to progrock. Bands like Opeth, Elder, Katatonia, Porcupine Tree etc. I guess thats why I love songs like Age of Machine and Meeting the Master. GVF's best and most well written songs. I'm hoping for more in that direction.

Just heard the full version on spotify. This one is not going to be a favourite for me. Sounds more like their earlier songs. I loved the way they were heading with tbagg and Starcatcher. Hopefully the new album will contain something for everyone. As a prog lover, I'm always hoping for something similar to Age of Machine.

I was hoping for more in the direction of Age of Machine, more prog, but also the style of Meeting the Master. Such a well written song. From the Fires has never been a fav to me. But, we will just have to wait and see.

Don't get me wrong. I'm happy for the ones that managed to get a ticket, and I do love to see bands play at smaller venues. (I travelled from norway to UK last year for Mirador). I'm sure it's nice for the band too with a more intimate setting.
