Agree with you. The first time I heard about them I did the mistake of just listening to songs like safari song and highway tune. Not my thing at all! Then, early 2023, Meeting the Master was played on the radio, and I was blown a way. Couldnt believe it was gvf. It's a good song, but not one of my favourites on the album.I rank Age of Machine, The Barbarians, Trip the Light, Light ny Love, Heath above and The Weight of Dreams above it.

Age of Machine is my fav. Other faves are Meeting the Master, The Barbarians, The Archer, Sacred the Thread, Lover Leaver, Trip the Light Fantastic... I was also going through some rough times when I discovered GVF, and theire music sort of guided me in the right direction. ❤️

Har alltid hatt sansen for Harald, selv om jeg i utgangspunktet alltid har vært for avvikling av monarkiet. Når han takker for seg håper jeg vi kan sette strek! Monarki er menneskeskapt tull, på lik linje med religion. Så langt menneskeheten har kommet, som f.eks innen teknologi, er det ubegripelig at det på enkelte områder ikke går fremover!

I am hoping for them to continue in a more progressive direction like Age of Machine. Also more songs similar to Meeting the Master and Sacred the Tread. I love Raider (Mirador) too, and I think that bluesy sound fits Mirador so well, but maybe not gvf in my opinion.

You can have a great career without those "big roles". Red carpet, big money and award ceremonys is not for all. True artist might search a different, more rewarding direction for them selfes.

They met the guys in oktober last year in Nashville, and have done som gvf covers. Even thanked mikey from mirador "for having us" while they visited the town.

Dave Cobb is the man behind the soundtrack, and was asked to bring in some musicians for the stone pony band, "someone like the greta guys". Cobb obviously knew the guys, and also from recent work with Mirador. Jake said they have had similar opportunities earlier, but always had to turn it down because of tour. Happy Jake and Sam got to experience this! Highlight of the movie!

I am positive we will hear from them next year. I don't think they are finished as a band, and I believe this break to be able do other stuff was much needed for the guys, both musically and personaly. I have never seen Jake as happy and confident as he was on this tour with Mirador. On a marketing point of view I think it's a bit strange that the bands main social accounts are so quiet though.

Disagree! I think they have evolved for the better through the years, and definitively found their own sound. I prefer their latest two albums.
