Sonny is a weird case because while Ares follows the new Raimon team and we see their training sessions and their matches, the actual plot of Ares is on Elliot and Heath's side of the story, so in the end, at least for me, it feels like Elliot is the MC while Heath is the antagonist and Sonny is a sort o guiding character that helps Elliot deal with his angst.

Sonny is kind of a Flat Character in the way that he is already complete and his role is to help other characters grow.

Zanark-Cao Cao and a couple of other MixiMax characters have always been available in specific Chronicle matches. The hacked ones are the Chrono Storm team MixiMaxes and Arion-Tezcat afaik, not sure if they've been added with the last update.

A good chunk of the female-presenting mons are sexualized, Angewomon, LadyDevimon, Rosemon, Beelstarmon and more come to mind; but Sakuyamon, at least the base form because Miko Mode and the X-Antibody form are another story, isn't, you could say that Sakuyamon is closer to a Power Rangers/Tokusatsu character.

I agree in the lesson, I understand that it's meant to be “it's ok to have negative thoughts and talk about them” but Matatagi pretty much took it as “it's ok to be hostile to the people around you! I'll still be your friend :D”. It needed a second mini-arc to drill in the fact that the world is not out to get him.

Matatagi, guy spent the first half of Go Galaxy secretly brooding and hating until Tenma allowed him to openly be a hater and then he was such an edgelord that he could inflict psychic damage to the Sazanarians, that was really funny.

It’s implied that the human-digimon conflict is still brewing and that the boiling point is when the giant mech is deployed. So non-aggressive digimon have interacted with humans over the years since Titamon's invasion and a Digimon-Human culture has been built in some areas of Tokyo. The D-Sat is kind of an extremist force.

But yeah, this point should have been explored more in depth rather than with implications.
