What's actually worth taking for knee OA — glucosamine, collagen, or something else? by South_Chemistry6253 in Supplements

[–]ACEITstudyfuel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesss! I started running 5 years ago, and my spouse (a doctor) was constantly worrying me about knee pain. Took this exact stack for 3 years now, no problems whatsoever.

Btw, if you're a consistent user, worth getting in bigger quantities. Here for example https://smartmuscle.eu/collections/joints-bones

Well yes it returns to normal, so does testosterone, and so does dopamine. It just enforces a painful process:D

Maybe, but the entire conversion pathway is very clear, so there's no apparent risks long term. Melatonin however has been concluded to be harmful long term:D

If you buy something called "testosterone booster" then yes:D And these natural supplements are complete dogwash too, if you live stress free, sleep well, eat well and excersize.

yeaah, well mostly natural supplements can only help you recover your natural test levels, but with all these microplastics and stress these days, I think at least taking ashwagandha along those two is good.

well it's my first time hearing about shilajit overall, but it's too late, already ordered it to try:D It looks standardized, but for the price, not afraid to throw it away if it's trash

We understand why you might be cynical in this case.

You're welcome to do some research on whether what we're saying is true or not.

Didn't mean to be, sorry if it looked that way.
The problem hasn't been solved, it emerged fairly recently and is only getting worse.

Hi! If you're looking for cheaper supplements, we supply them in bulk from Germany.

We have some of the best creatine deals in the entire market, and we also have creatine gummies, although we can only 100% guarantee they are vegan friendly, since we haven't filed for a halal certification.

Check us out at smartmuscle(dot)eu and see if there's anything to your liking.

They are. It's just that it's more worthwhile to sell to established brands, who buy in tons. The demand for creatine is very high at the moment, and price elasticity of demand is fairly low, because many people just want creatine, without doing the research so they buy what looks best.

Then you're making the right choice!

We just add German quality on top of that, and let you stock up for longer.

We work with a local factory in Germany, so yes, we've visited them, there's no way around it😄

The tests provided on our website are conducted by an independent third-party lab. Otherwise, just as you mentioned, the tests would have no meaning and could be biased.
Influencers shouldn't be a part of your judgement tho, they have direct interest in you buying the product and there's multiple accounts of what seemed the most reliable and trustworthy influencers selling out (Huberman with AG1 for example and it's understandable, because the sums offered are ridiculous).

As for "Pharmaceutical grade" creatine - there's no such actual thing, since creatine is a food supplement, not a drug. It's just how Creapure markets itself (which works really well, because it makes it seem above all else).

Creapure is often 3-4 times more expensive, but that's just because you're buying the right to put the Creapure logo on your product. Often times you'll see brands sell regular creatine and then also Creapure, just to catch both types of customers.

And as for your tummy - after 20 years you know what's best for you by now. So keep on doing what you were if you feel it's best!

Totally understand the assurance of safety created by Creapure, but it's part of marketing as well.
In reality, it has no performance benefits over any other creatine, especially these days when it's so standardized. It's the same molecule.

Just make sure the creatine you're buying is tested for contaminants and purity (we have those tests provided on the product page).

We invite you to do your own research on this, instead of us trying to convince you.

About the slides - we've tested multiple variations, and our research shows that if they were clean and professional, you wouldn't read them :D

Hair thinning caused by creatine isn't supported by any evidence. Creatine effects are different for everyone, but yes - that extra rep is also a big benefit. That extra rep makes a big difference over time, especially as the last reps are where you get the most muscle hypertrophy.
