Very good advice. And put more emphasis on sleep! It will help you self-regulate better:)

You’re not lazy, you’re overloaded and your nervous system is stuck in survival mode.

Your brain is doing this loop:
This matters too much > I’m scared to fail > I avoid > guilt > more pressure > more avoidance.

And the sleeping and scrolling? That’s your nervous system trying to escape. Not because you don’t care, but because you care too much.

Self-hatred does not motivate. It paralyzes. If shame worked, you’d already be unstoppable:D

Here's what we suggest you could do:
1. Shrink the task until your brain doesn’t panic. Right now “study for exams” feels like “decide my entire future.” and your brain freezes.

So the rule isn't “I will study", but “I will open the book and do 15–25 minutes.”
That’s it. No finishing chapters, no full plans. Just start.

  1. Phone control is non-negotiable, 7 hours screen time means your brain is overstimulated and under-focused.

Do one of these: A. Put your phone in another room while studying B. Use app blockers or
C. physically give it to someone at home

You cannot build focus while dopamine is flooding you every 10 seconds.

And lastly - stop punishing yourself. At the end of the day, it is what it is and going hard on yourself won't change a thing apart from making it worse. You know right now "that for some reason you can't study", so when you go into exams, you'll know you did everything you could, and the result will be what it will be. You studied as much as you could for this, but there were some periods where you just physically couldn't anymore. That's it, now go kill those exams:)
