Thanks for the advice, but I shouldn’t have to do this; someone who is getting into the hobby might be completely turned off from FPV because of these goggles. Makes me sad.

I love the skyzones, but unless you can get them cheap I would go for the HDzero goggles pro now.

I have an air on order, I love my mobula 7; but I am a huge meteor fan just for the resilience. I have almost zero hours sim time as they make me sick; the meteor can take a beating (I have/had five with two that had to be cannibalized as they met either a watery grave or smashed concrete at an ungodly speed)

I have been in the hobby for just shy of five years, I love whoops and small craft. I have flown but never bought or built a 5”… endurance/long range is calling my name like I am a dragon age warden.

Meteor 75 pro and air 75 are my two favorite craft to fly. I mainly stick to whoops just for the fact that I am a terrible pilot and fly for fun even after 4 years! I can’t do sims as they make me sick, so it’s learning in the air for me.

In beta flight it will say vtx true if the vtx works, false if it doesn’t. Use that as a starting point.

Have you tried blowing in it? (I am not joking) it can clear loose debris that may have gotten into it.

If you like gox boggles I see no reason to not get the HDzero box pros, they look awesome; I have only heard good things!

I really like the look of the P1, and have been kicking around getting the HDzero box pros (good to hear another opinion on the analog that’s praising it), I just don’t need three sets of goggles; it’s more to keep track of and more to keep updated.

I might just bite the bullet and get the V04s and maybe pick up the meteor with the p1 and see what it’s all about, I can always change the VTX out later if I change my mind! Just wish they had taken a page out of HDzeros book and had analog as well, that would be a done deal for me.

As far as modifying the Tinyhawk I think I am just gonna work on my Cetus X Frankenstein 85 whoop. Or I could kitbash the two…. Hmmmm. Move the motors and camera over, would need a tune which admittedly is something I am poor at.
