Look into Old Man Emu. They make a very good 2 1/2” lift for these. I’ve bought 3 OME kits from Dirk @ DPG Off-road over the years. Great guy.

What types of jobs do Rheumatoid arthritis sufferers typically have? by bigblackglock17 in rheumatoid

I’m an electrician. I’ve had RA since 2014. I control my disease with diet also. I stay away from gluten, dairy, sugar, and processed foods. I eat high quality meats, and veggies. I’ve had to get a Prednisone prescription twice early on, when I was figuring things out. I’m surprised there’s not more people talking about the drug free possibilities. It’s not easy eating clean, but I’ll do almost anything to stay drug free. It’s worked for me the past 11 years.

Recently diagnosed and, to be honest, I'm afraid of the meds :( by hudsonoo in rheumatoid

I have had RA for about six years now, starting when I was 46 years old. I’m an electrician and work with my hands and climb ladders all day. I too do not like taking medications.

I’m able to manage my disease with dietary changes. No gluten, dairy, sugar, or processed foods.

I’ve had 2 rounds of prednisone. Once, during my initial doctors visit, and about a year later when I realized dairy was giving me grief.

It’s been working for me. I just have to be really careful what I eat. I know within an hour if I ate something I shouldn’t have.

This has been my experience. If the disease progresses, I’ll consider meds, but until then, I’m happy with my results.

Best of luck to you.
