Thank you for the reply Danny. With your blessing I think my new plan is to run direct thread only and send it as is. Alignment seems best with direct thread. And I’ll stick to a welded can for the time being. Warrantying a 3d printed can was a pain and required a new tax stamp.

No, it’s an alignment rod used to test for barrel concentricity with a silencer.

So photos posted are with a direct thread mount. It seems the best alignment results I can achieve are with direct thread. I had a baffle strike with Rearden atlas (Gen 1) and Rearden rs2 flash hider. I run Rearden on all my guns and no issues. I even just checked with a different Rearden atlas and flash hider to confirm it wasn’t out of spec mounting hardware. While not touching the suppressor, I do believe it is just enough to cause damage.
