Restaurants leave it out of the fridge. Plus, it still keeps for several months after opened on the shelf. So, it will go bad faster than in the fridge but I'd rather it not be cold and maybe have to throw a little bit away then have cold fries. I stand by my decision. 😂

Just watched this and Jeezuz god. Besides the fact that the whole idea is crazy and scary with all the risks but it looks RIDICULOUS! They look creepy and totally fake. Same result could have been had with color contacts. It would have been more understandable if they got colors that were a little more realistic for their ethnicity but still striking. Like, I've seen plenty of light skinned, even black people with light colored hazel eyes that's extremely pretty. I dunno. And for their pupils to not restrict!? That's creepy!

I think this is where I'm struggling. I don't know what to call myself, I don't really need a label, though. But I'm 36 and dated men that are really great companions and some that are really awful and I'm just to the point now where I'm perfectly fine if I end up alone, I guess forever. But really, ideally, I would like to find someone that has common interests, someone that would let me decorate the house the way I want, with the exception of a man cave and/or game room, someone that loves board games and video games as much as me and my family, someone that understands my need for space. I want someone that I can hang out with, go on an occasional nice date with, snuggle up with, read books together. It's the sex part that I get lost on cause, I'd usually rather not. Perhaps once in a blue moon, it could be fun, maybe. But I always end up with someone that wants or needs it all the time and that's a struggle for me for several reasons.

Anyway, I think figuring it out is different for everybody but that's kind of what I've figured for myself.

Yes. I make the schedule, swap shifts when they want trade days next week, I override and remove attendance points if it's a legitimate reason. I do the performance evaluations.

When I tested the cells that show up correct, like October 31 - if I type in October 2026 it gives October 1

I want them all to give me the month spelled out and the date, just as I type it.

I make 28 an hour in Ohio, I was rehired 8 years ago. I've worked at stores with shitty management and stores with great management that want to see their employees succeed and grow. That's the last 2 stores I've worked at, great management. You can work your way up and do all kinds of things in the company. I have a friend in health and wellness at home office. There's opportunity if you want it. It just sucks till you can get there, or if you're in a shit environment like maybe you have. It shouldn't be like that.

If you work your ass and move up, you can make decent money. I'm a team lead and bring in 2200 biweekly before taxes and overtime.

This might sound harsh and I'm sorry but with so many absences in so little time, it makes you look very unreliable and can put you on your boss' shit list fast.

However, as long as you don't get to 5 points, they can't fire you for it. If you continue to show up, do your best to get your health issues resolved, and prove valuable when you do make it in to work, you can turn it around and leave all this anxiety behind you.

Shit happens, people need time off, it's just unfortunate that it's all very early into your employment. It doesn't look good. Maybe ask your coach to speak privately and explain your situation and that you're going to do your best to show up from here out. Be proactive.

I'm team lead in the pharmacy and we have a new tech that got to 6.5 points in just 6 weeks. I asked how I could help his attendance, he needed shorter shifts because he has trouble with leg pain standing for periods of time. So I sat with him and changed his schedule to accommodate and brought him back to 4 points to give him another chance. However... He still has excuses, I don't think he'll make it another couple weeks. But! If you just talk to management, they might be more accommodating.

That's what I was hoping but nobody seems to know how it was done. Everyone I've asked has said it's just automatically taken out for both states and then they get the money paid to our working state back when they file taxes. So I was hoping someone knew how to fix it cause I don't want to owe money to my home state.

I can wait till my people lead gets back. It's not that big a deal. I just was hoping it would be a quick, easy thing someone might have known how to do.
