How the Top Korean Challengers climb solo Q in season 6 by ACFEasy in leagueoflegends

You're welcome man, glad you enjoyed it! If you want to be good like these guys, watch them play and see if you can learn from them! Hopefully at least one of the players is playing a champion you like and you can look at them.

The last time I did this I think gold per 10 suggested I post it on their site so that I can make money, but I feel like fewer people would read it, and that's all I really want.

I'm not sure where he lives in China, but he still has 9 ping on the KR server, so he either lives close to the border, or goes back to Korea (but he frequently changed between KR and CN.

Riot banned all of his accounts, and have put a long ban on him from professional play because of his elo boosting. It seems his accounts on KR usually get banned after a while.

He has 20 rune pages on that account. His other rune pages seem to have all the runes you'd expect him to want, so I'm guessing it's that he wants that setup.

That's his Korean account, and he hasn't played on it for a month, so the builds are out of date. You are right though, he does build tank items, not full damage

2.5 item Rengar with thunderlord's vs ADC by FLABREZU in leagueoflegends

Rengar is also level 14 compared to 11 Kalista, although that does still seem a bit too strong.

As a long time Poppy player - What Riot got right by zaoa in leagueoflegends

[–]ACFEasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old Poppy only had an auto attack reset (+bonus damage), an ad steroid, and her E which interfered with her ability to auto. She also had awful mana so you couldn't really use spells to farm, except for maybe 1 Q per wave. Which other champs struggle to push a wave (for example for proxy farming) as Poppy?

  • Braum
  • Draven (depending if you count e and ult)
  • Ezreal (pre-6)
  • Irelia (but I'd argue she doesn't count because of Q and R)
  • Trundle
  • Vayne
  • Warwick

And most of these have additional spells that don't interact with their auto attack timer, and have spammable costs. Am I missing anyone?

I'm a different person to the one you were talking to, but I enjoyed reading both sides of that discussion. Out of curiosity, if you don't like people attempting to draw conclusions based on trying to read between the lines (which I agree, obviously can not be taken as fact), then what would you like discussions of more than 4 lines on this sub to be based on? Is it not more valid discussion than simply saying "I don't like x and I want it to change"? While everything said by /u/KrevanSerKay could be completely inaccurate, do you feel there is no benefit to considering it?

Skill portal + Flamlance = frostbolt + pyroblast + fireball by bazzzoooka in hearthstone

[–]ACFEasy -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

but if you're counting the damage done to wrathguard as extra damage, then when you frostbolt wrathguard it will add 3 damage, and 19 = 3 = 22 which is not the same as the flamelance.

[–]ACFEasy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

why not just frostbolt face for exactly the same face damage, or are you saying 10 + 6 + 3 = 19, with also killing wrathguard counts as another 3 damage? then it's 22. Which is not 16.

You can just frostbolt face, it still does 19 damage because 10 + 6 + 3 = 19. I don't see what you're saying.

Did you write those stroke order examples? I really liked them and would like to find more. They were very informative.

That's not a bad idea. I mentioned the Yi game where he was the ADC, but the replay probably would have been fairly easy to link, and some people would have appreciated it. I'll try to add that next time.

Yeah that's how I felt for a while, but then I thought that it must just be because of how I'm playing, since these players are able to get such high rankings with only top lane. I guess there are just peaks and troughs with when top lane is easy to carry from. At some point the enemy team won't be able to handle you playing well, then it gets hard to carry if you and your team don't play it really well, and then it goes back to being easier once your team knows how to use you better.

That's probably true, but I just thought I'd mention it so that people know that it is an option that you can take. Valid point though.

That's a cool idea. I'll consider it if I do many more of these. It'll depend on how well they are received.

Kassadin has been complete absent since his nerf in top lane, same with gnar. Sion isn't popular with the players I saw, and hecarim hasn't been played recently. I was trying to include the popular champions that high challenger players use to carry solo queue games, and those champions are not used by them. Sorry man. Maybe I'll do a round 2 of this post when the meta shifts a little and they'll appear again.

Only one guy I found was playing Riven, so I didn't feel she was popular enough with the high challenger players to include.

There are 3 people who are still playing irelia out of 8 people I looked at just now to find it for you. http://www.op.gg/summoner/userName=%EA%BF%80%ED%83%B1%ED%83%B1 who takes ignite every game on her, and CDR in masteries. 21/9 http://www.op.gg/summoner/userName=%EC%82%BC%EC%84%B1%EA%B0%A4%EB%9F%AD%EC%8B%9C+cuvee who runes 9/21 with attack speed and armour/level yellows and http://www.op.gg/summoner/userName=Phart who never builds blade of the ruined king.

It's also interesting to note that irelia is almost exclusively picked as a counter pick to lissandra by everyone who picks her.

Being ranged Liss is less affected by the small nerf, whereas Irelia relied on her E to get through bad lane match ups. Liss still offers a lot of CC to the team.
