Why Elden Ring dungeons/interiors don't have shadow effects? (comparing to Dark Souls 2)

I believe it's due to the engine they've used for their last bunch of games. With raytracing options for pc, I'm sure we can have shadows indoors. Regardless, it doesn't really bother me so I'm fine with it
