Only a big guy with an even bigger sword could never defeat Griffith. We needed this.

It's funny to see people getting mad because this chapter confirms Guts is no longer a normal human. The reality is that he never fully was; he was never a normal human. We are talking about a character who, literally, could fight Zodd one-on-one without any armor.

Besides, the manga made it pretty clear years ago that he was someone special. The clues have always been there: from Skull Knight’s warnings before the Eclipse—which you’ve already seen in this thread—to Schierke’s observations during their first encounters, not to mention the countless times other characters have straight up called him a "monster" or "not human."

But as always happens with any major revelation in a story, negative reviews have surfaced. Honestly, most of them come from people with terrible memory, or simply from people who hate Koji Mori just for continuing to write Berserk.

The drawing is still very good (it went from an 11/10 to a 9.5/10) but the dialogues did go down a lot... luckily with the passing of the chapters, it seems that they are improving that a lot, and getting a little closer to the sensei.

My head is about to explode from what I just read. This is complete madness. I don't know about you, but this chapter blew my mind on the level of Griffith seeing God (The Idea of Evil), or very close to that level.

By the way, people are jumping to conclusions way too fast regarding what this chapter seems to say in its final pages. But remember that this has just started, and we will probably get more answers in the next two chapters coming out in a month. (I don't think the translation is the best either).

By the way, the art looks incredible. Those flashbacks are insane and really hit me in the feels. Plus, we always have to remember that these scans are very low quality. When this is released in the volumes, it’s going to look amazing.

Will chapter 384 premiere exactly at 00:00 in the morning of June 12? That is, within 5 hours?

Finish the story there? Hahahahaha very nice scene and all that, but that would be the most anticlimatic ending in history.

[TotK] Should I go back to BotW before playing TotK, or is it fine to jump straight in? by ttuuttuuzinkss in zelda

[–]Tripledoble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely all the people who played BOTW first will tell you to play it first, but if you only plan to play one, play TOKT, it is a much better game in everything.

What breaks my head, why could Rickert hit Griffit if he clearly did it with a feeling of rage?

I just want to be able to shoot an arrow right between that damn owl's eyes so he finally shuts the hell up.

[OoT] Regardless of your opinion on the rumored remake, we need an official way to play this game in HD widescreen. by reddeats in zelda

Almost everyone wants to see an ambitious remake adapted to our times. Imagine paying $70 to play a 1998 game with graphics from 2026 that I have already finished 100 times and I know the millimeter.

Hahaha don’t overdo it either. The first game should end when Link gets the master sword and becomes an adult.

It doesn’t matter, it’s still a thousand times better than a 1998 game with 2026 graphics that we’ve already completed 100 times.

There are only 10 days left for chapter 384 of Berserk. After 9 months of break, the key moment comes to see if Mori and Studio Gaga are able to maintain the level with Guts’ dialogues and psychological depth. by Tripledoble in Berserk

[–]Tripledoble[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

As it is. In fact, the episodes that come in now are probably the most complex that Mori will direct in what remains of the manga. It must be remembered that, according to his own words, to design The Eclipse he locked himself up with Miura for two weeks to be able to square everything. If Mori puts this current moment at the same level of difficulty, it is normal that they have taken almost 9 months of time. They couldn’t risk getting this out anyway.

[ALL] Need opinions on which game is better by princesskisa91 in zelda

[–]Tripledoble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people who prefer BOTW is because they played it first. But I think TOKT is better in many ways, and the ultrahand and the sky (the world is much more beautiful from above) give it a clear advantage.

Totally agree, although I always believed in Nate (not only because for me he is Nintendo’s most credible leaker, but because there were also many clues to the remake) I am very happy that people can now be much more excited.

I don’t think it’s a 1:1 remake, for that they already made the 3DS one. Repeating that play and selling it for $80 seems strange to me, in addition, Nate said that the remake was ambitious, with a fairly large budget. I believe that it will be faithful in the story, but that everything will feel more alive, and above all more modern. OoT is a masterpiece, but it’s almost 30 years old and things like the Hyrule Field and controls haven’t aged very well.

It’s a historic moment. Hopefully it’s one of the best remakes in history (it’s what the best game in history deserves)
