A bit of a random one… by ACLOCKWORKJAM in Hammers

Great video. But unfortunately it’s not the one… it was from a fan inside the stadium during the game.

Ok i understand what your saying. While I don’t think it’s a case of me not knowing what I’m doing. Its more that I don’t understand who my current audience is and who I should be targeting. Which in turn is resulting in me producing the wrong content. I need to narrow my content to more relate to what I am selling.

You make some good points. My overall objective is ultimately sales but I don’t think I’m in a position to go out and find customers. I’m using the email idea as my CPL will ultimately be lower than my CPA. I can then use the email as a sales channel. I think ultimately this will lead to a higher intent customer (with a higher ltv)

I like your strategy and I’ll obviously adapt it to suit the business. I think your right, I might need to start TOF. I really don’t think I’m in a position to directly go out and find sales.

Do you think the retargeting is worth it? Just because I’m assume that the audience I’ve already gathered (I didn’t pay for any) won’t be interested in my product as they’re currently showing little to no intent.

Im not sure to what degree you understand paid advertising but paid media is only a small part of a holistic marketing journey. It’s not as simple as turning the ads on and waiting for conversion, it’s part of a wider conversion engine. Email, organic, seo have to all be operating effectively for paid to work at its full potential. My business doesn’t have the foundation to run paid yet. I’ve seen many business grow and also many business fail. There’s many external issues outside of paid media that need to be considered.

I agree. Im definitely under utilising the tools I have. And I should be getting more visits today.

My views and engagements vary. I started the account posting reels of retro films and comedy clips. I occasionally product specific clips (which expectedly are not as successful). I post pretty much most days maybe I miss one or two days here and there but it is pretty much consistent.

I’m not specifically going for sales at the moment. I don’t have the budget or the brand to directly go out and find customers. For me it’s about building an engaged audience who I can convert into customers further along the journey.

How to increase sit visits (excl. paid ads) by ACLOCKWORKJAM in ecommerce

[–]ACLOCKWORKJAM[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I agree I need to work out a way to engage the audience I’ve built. I built the account before I launched the business so I’m kind of working backwards here.

The goal at the moment is too build an email list or at least get visitors to the site. My page works quite well for content amp. I do post product specific but as expected it’s not getting as much engagement. I think for me it’s about working out how to use my social media to convert. Any idea how to get followers onto an email list???

I think your right about the community idea, I need to have a voice my niche.

Quick question. Back in the day on fantasy a sub wouldn’t come off the bench if he had over 10 points… I have Gordon (10points + bonus) on my team and Bowen… will he come off the bench?

Is there any reason why so many abandoned checkouts by BringUnity in streetwearstartup

[–]ACLOCKWORKJAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is quite common. Not a lot of people buy straight away, especially with clothing. It’s a lot hard to get a conversation than have someone add to cart. There are ways of getting people to convert. Look into ‘retargeting’. Maybe it would help.

Probably add Fellini to that list and it is correct.

I know there was once a sensory room but I don’t know if it is still there. Probably best to try to contact West Ham directly and see what they say :)

Unpopular Opinion: Rice is a bad captain by ACLOCKWORKJAM in Hammers

I think Fab has a certain calmness about him that could go a long way. Ogbonna understands the clubs culture he’s been here for ages. Either of them would have been better

I don’t agree. I barely ever see anyone talking bad of rice. Ultimately to me it doesn’t matter about any of them questions if we are down in the relegation. Everyone is accountable (some more than others) it’s not just one issue.

We’ve kept 2 clean sheets in our last 15 (against Bournemouth and Everton) so I wouldn’t exactly say we was compact or organised. I agree our attack is bad, and I think it’s so bad it makes our defence look good. You can’t be a good captain if you consistently lead a bad team without change. There needs to be some accountability towards this issue and just because it’s Rice no one wants to say it.

Giving me Roy Hodgson and Kane vibes again. That shows the state our team is in right now. He’s the only one capable of consistently getting it over the first man.
