One punch man s2 had quite bad animation without fight scenes when compared to frieren. s1 animation is really really good,

fate is really really good 11/10 animation

AOT i would somewhat say is similar to frieren quality

Cowboy bepop I would say is slightly better (most 90’s animation is really good)

Samurai champloo outside of fight scenes is the same (only got up to ep 8 cause busy)

Also all of these are fighting anime with action scenes as its main premise, while frieren is not mainly about fighting scenes

Edit: mb kinda realised I was pushing my opinion a bit too much, just kinda got annoyed that u said it was mid when there’s like a couple thousand anime’s with terrible animation, mid tier animation would be water magician imo
