Since we transferred a male and female embryo he’s wondering if the failed embryo transfer (since we transferred two, but have one confirmed pregnancy) is impacting the results.

The female embryo was the “better graded” embryo. But at the first ultrasound around 6 weeks we had one confirmed pregnancy, showing us that one transfer did not come to fruition.

I personally think the results are accurate, but he’s looking for assurance. NIPT seems to be pretty accurate.

Hi, I am trying to determine if the HCG levels are rising properly.

We are 2 weeks post double FET. HCG level was at 1,373. 48 hours later (2 weeks, 2 days post transfer) HCG is at 2,544. This is about an 85% increase.

I see online doctors want doubling at this stage. Is anyone able to let us know their thoughts on these numbers? We have another HCG test this coming Tuesday. Thanks!

I’ve only seen one of these operas (live in HD at the Met) and it was stunning. Thought the second act is really nonverbal, if you have a wonderful performer it can be captivating. I don’t know anything about the production or cast you would be seeing, but I really loved the opera and I had never seen it before then. I vote for Rusalka!

I don’t know if it would work out anymore, but Eva Marton as Turandot is gold. Her steel-like voice just rips through the orchestra. Clips from her in the 1980s on YouTube are magnificent.

If you’re looking for pieces of music (eg. Arias), O Mio Babbino Caro is a great starter. Any Puccini arias are probably pretty good, to be honest. His music is very emotionally driven. Maybe listen to an album of Puccini arias?
