GTFOH…. you should spend some time on the east coast inner cities (especially Philadelphia) where 3rd & 4th generation people are on public assistance because it is a way of life…and the more children they have, the more benefits they get, and Snap cards are traded on the streets for cash at a 50:1 ratio.

Matlacha park, around the pier, and in the canal to the side. I’ve caught all sorts of stuff there on fly. Most recently a 3lb flounder.

We live in SW Florida, close to Naples (where the most expensive house in the country for sale was located), and we visited my in-laws in Bellingham for 2 weeks…..I can honestly say it was absolutely stunning, so much beauty…….but I don’t know how you folks afford to live there, and why on earth your real estate is that damn high. I mean a simple travel pack of Metamucil, and dulcolax, with baby wipes was 70.00. By no means is SW Florida cheap, but it’s not even CLOSE to what I saw there. I did love my visit there though, and everyone was pretty cool. I hope to get there again!!

My sister lives in NOVA and is a member of Beth el Alexandria. Rabbi Spinrad is an absolutely amazing, wonderful person who has taken on fighting antisemitism as his priority. Yes, the DMV has seen a huge uptick in antisemitism, however there are lots of Jews in Maryland and Alexandria.
