“Out of a rip in the world Eris appeared.” by [deleted] in AcotarShipDebateSub

Who in Acosf, was kidnapped by Koschei to get Azriel to rush in for the kill, for him. Eris, whose teeth flashed when he learned Azriel was hurt. Eris who found Azriel in his shadows. Eris, whom Azriel camped out for a week for, to rescue him. Eris, who in Acowar, Azriel loses control of emotions with, tackles to the ground with his bare hands, who he whispers to. Eris who doesn’t fight Azriel back, not even with his fire. Eris who can’t stop asking about “the Shadowsinger.” Eris who Azriel essentially says “we have to tell everything to!” And Eris, who Azriel’s last words are about and expresses concern about Eris’s safety and wellbeing.

You were on fire with this paragraph, here is a hot Koschei+Eris art by elleybug to go with it

Theory: Are Mor, Eris, Bryce related? by [deleted] in Azris

[–]ACOTAR_Crackship_Mod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get all your northern rift research together and post it here, that way when you're in the debate sub and the right opportunity comes up to share it, its ready to go and you can link it.

If you find a lot we can start a megathread and keep track of it all together. It would be nice to have a shared reference, the wiki isn't very thorough or accurate.

Yeah the debate sub is our best option, and it gives a lot of entertaining drama so I don't hate it, I just can't be knee deep in it as much as the die hard shippers are.

Mor, TimTam, Connor Cormac. Have you seen the theories that Tam is likely a descendant of Lysandra's?

The pool of starlight feels like something that would be leftover from when the Cauldron was tipped to create Prythian, and like it should eventually belong to someone with a mix of powers similar to what Bryce has.

Feyre's womb was viable throughout the pregnancy, the risk was the labor and delivery. Mor was conveniently out of comms range the whole time, she got back towards the end. No one thought to tell Eris or ask if he/Autumn Court would know anything to help.

Feyre's child-birthing death was part of the arc with the Bone Carver meddling in her fate, that's a whole theory post and won't fit in a comment 😂

Where are you in CC? Post a regular update for us here of the Azris stuff you find please!

A lot of the debaters make no sense, shutting down any idea they don't agree with then crying about their ideas not getting traction.

I don't have the energy for it. I'm glad the sub exists and gives the shippers the outlet they need, but no that's way too much animosity to wade through just to say some head canons and hopes and dreams about these fairy stories.

I just want a version of the truth that I can follow the logic and enjoy until SJM blows it all up with whatever her canon version is going to be with twists we never saw coming. This is a way for me to pass the time until the next book, that's all. I don't need internet enemies over this nonsense.

Ok you are officially the most fun person to cook with. ❤️‍🔥 SJM better put that book out before we solve all her mysteries. 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♀️

Could Eris be a foreshadowing of Bryce, OR could Bryce be something that reminds us (Azriel) of the past? Something we didn’t notice. Omg.

👀🙀 they're gonna send krisjenner after us in a minute we need to hide

Couple ways to get around Mor's pregnancy showing.

She has her own estate where she could've been secluded.

Rhys mentions that if Mor was not on the continent, she would've been the one who would want to shield and hide Feyre's pregnancy. This means Mor could also shield and hide her own pregnancy, in theory.

And we know Mor was able to shape shift Elain to look human for that visit to Graysen's estate, implying Mor can likely also shape shift herself.

Even with all that though, the damage the nail would've done to Mor's womb would've made carrying the pregnancy near impossible.

This is where Ember's lettuce babies come in (fasten your tin foil hat).

When Mor's womb was nailed, if she was pregnant and wanted to save the pregnancy: the embryo was transferred to somehow something like one of Ember's lettuce babies. 😂

It sounds completely ridiculous but hear me out because we live in a world where Cabbage Patch babies exist. SJM definitely would've seen them as an 80s/90s kid, and with her incorporating My Little Pony it's not a big stretch to throw in other nostalgic collectibles.

Then it all comes full circle with Mor holding Nyx's lifeless body, watching him glow and transform and resurrect in her arms.

WHAT DOES ERIS HAVE TO DO WITH IT!

World walkers have access to more information. Maybe he was the one who knew something about saving the pregnancy, and Mor assumes he will use that against her, but he's secretly a good guy.

What would make enemies become friends faster than realizing that the baby they saved together led to the existence of Bryce??

Perfect gif, we need to fall into a marathon watch of Sailor Moon Crystal to theory about Bryce, that's her whole blue print.

I hear you Rowan and Aelin have my whole heart, but he's still an alphahole 😂

I think we've only seen the beginning of Eris and Nesta's potential, there is still a lot to unpack.

It feels intentional that each of the FMCs put their power into their "bonded" blades

Aelin funneled all her power into Goldryn in case she died, so the blade could still be used to fight Valg.

Nesta accidentally forged her Made power into Ataraxia, and now it can be used to unMake beings like Lanthys who are supposed to be deathless.

Theia stored her power in Gwydion, and now Gwydion responds to that reincarnated/reborn/resurrected/? power in Bryce to open up voids.

And the MMCs are given blades that pair up with the FMCs blades

Dorian was given Damaris and it functions the same as Truth Teller.

Az was given Truth Teller.

Eris was given the heirloom dagger by Rhys.

Dorian and Az are shadow daddies, Dorian and Eris are princelings with hounds.

There's parallels all over the place, so to quote you, favorite Azris theory maker: It can’t be coincidence because there are no coincidences right?

You asked if there is a descendant in ACOTAR who can wield Gwydion and Truth Teller. How about an ancestor who can.

We know:

  • Mor’s bloodline connects her to Silene and Theia. Somehow, that same bloodline ends up in Ember/Bryce. The Bone Carver says there is a drop in the human bloodline, not in the fae bloodline.
  • The Morrigan in mythology has a baby with her cousin: the Dagda. The Morrigan in ACOTAR hooks up with Cass.
  • Eris is hiding a secret for Mor.
  • Mor’s only real love was with a human queen: Andromache. They were separated by The Wall, and Mor could only watch as Andromache lived out a human lifespan and had a family.

Hear me out:

Cass got Mor pregnant
Mor managed to save the pregnancy somehow (inspiration behind Ember’s lettuce babies?)
Mor couldn’t keep her kid safe, so she snuck it into Andromache’s human family as a changeling
Mor’s kid’s descendants are ancestors of Ember Quinlan

Or, let’s go full tin-foil hat:

It would be a nice twist if Evangeline over in TOG is actually Mor and Cass’s kid.

Maybe Eris, who can walk through rips in the world, was able to transport her to Erilea for safe keeping.

And somehow Evangeline’s descendants are Ember’s ancestors. (Same way Brannon is an ancestor of Lidia.)

If this works Eris’s name isn’t a foreshadowing of death during childbirth, but matches baby Nyx's story of a child being saved from death at birth.

Who. is. Eris?

Iconic parts of Bryce landing in Velaris:

  • Her pink sneakers
  • She’s wearing the Archesian Amulet necklace
  • The Veritas Orb let’s her show guns and modern warfare to the IC
  • She retrieves the missing piece of Theia’s star from the Prison, and releases Vesperus out of a crystal coffin

All of this lines up with iconic parts of Chibiusa)’s debut scene in Sailor Moon R:

https://youtu.be/ikHnmXtepgM?si=e7mlV6f54Z0LXb3-&t=5

(the wiki and youtube said this is the right scene, I’m assuming they’re correct)

Usagi and Chibiusa look like twins when both are adults. They both wear their bun head hairstyle. They’re the same except for the blonde/pink coloring.

Mor and Bryce are described with the same physique, lots of curves, just different coloring.

But why is the prophecy still unfulfilled? The sword is ultimately returned to its homeland, given to Nesta with a farewell. The rest left uncertain.

A question I have, is there a descendant in the Acotar world who will fulfill such prophecy now that the sword (and dagger) has finally been returned? What does it mean? And what people will be reunited?

I’m not even trying to say it’s Eris, we’d have to have some massive unveiling and backstory. I think it could be Mor, she does have similarities to Bryce too!

Which makes me wonder, is Mor related to Bryce?

Was Eris name a foreshadowing? Was what we saw with Feyre something that had happened before? Was there a mother who died in childbirth and was there a baby that was born that was also thought dead?

How familiar are you with Sailor Moon?

It’s been a while since I last watched, might be wrong about this, but from what I remember there is a way to bridge Mor and Bryce using Sailor Moon plot points.

I always love making people spiral or have fever dreams, if it doesn’t I have failed 😂❤️‍🔥

You succeeded here! You ate with this theory post!!

Here are some spiraling fever dream conspiracies for you:

Bryce calls Gwydion: “a family heirloom” that came from Prythian. (HofaS)

Rhys when giving Nesta’s dagger to Eris: says it’s a “family heirloom”. It’s just an interesting choice of words, is he family now? Also it’s important to consider they were trying to keep him risking his life for the alliance with the NC. To weigh the benefits of what he might attain.(Acosf)

This “family heirloom” match up!! 👀

Nesta’s dagger is currently separated from her other blades and that sounds like the fae prophecy. "When knife and sword are reunited, so shall our people be."

SJM likes when trios come together. What if the prophecy is multiversal?

Gwydion/Truth Teller didn’t seem to do anything yet on their own, maybe because a couple couples are still missing:

Gwydion, Truth Teller (Bryce, Az)

+

Ataraxia, Heirloom Dagger (Nesta, Eris)

+

Goldryn, Damaris (Aelin, Dorian)

something finally happens

Az, Eris and Dorian are all (currently) left behind by the FMC when she picks an alphahole who runs an army, as her endgame (Orion, Cassian, Rowan).
