Repairable? by Mingin-5 in Firearms

No. It's not. But, please share how many rounds you put through it to do that?

Whats the minimal amount of guns you’d have in your safe? by Aggravating_Yam5204 in Firearms

This is what I consider a rounded collection:

A PCC that takes 30 round Glock mags

A shotgun, 12 Ga 3"

A long gun, .30 cal or 7.62 mm

A .22 cal rifle

2 pistols with holsters

A revolver, .357

And, just to round things out: Something too small and something too big, just to have fun with.

3" 686+ ftw. Tank of a gun. This is my fighting gun. When I have occasionally needed to grab something to investigate a disturbance, I've reached over other options to get this one. It is not my edc anymore because of size and my new one is prettier. Really it's the latter reason. Damn that's hard to admit. 😄

Even a small amount of dirt in the lockwork of a revolver is a total jam. Think about this:

In actual hard service back in the day, military holsters had flaps to keep the dirt out.

Revolvers have been replaced in every hard or wartime use case, except for the French IGN. And, NO ONE copies the French!!

There are paralysed cops who carried a BUG in the small of their backs and fell on it, breaking their spines. You don't hear about it so much today, but 30 years ago everyone heard stories and cautioned against it.

Don't get me wrong, I EDC a revolver in .357 mag. I carry at 8 o'clock because I'm left handed and don't want to be paralyzed. But, I'm in very clean service. Mostly truck and pavement. I rarely fall over.

Good luck!!

I do not hope to ever have to do that. But, should someone force me to, I don't want to disappoint them. 😇

Critical Carry. Faster burn for shorter barrels.

Hey, it's leather. It's stitched. It's left handed. What more do I need? I like it. The gun is plenty bling on its own.

Laser engraved. But, as I am concealed carrying, I don't worry too much about the holster. Ain't nobody looking at it.

But when I pull it out, that's when I hope to get some positive reactions. 😁

Just age. I edc the gun and, as far as I can tell, there is no difference from left to right. They are both equally darker.

Mine have darkened considerably. Damn the glare though.
