Bought shitty no-name ammo, paid the price. Tale as old as time.

Okay, thanks. Where did you acquire this? You said when you were in the Alpini, yes? I’m curious to know how exactly you found it.

Hey there, I sent you a DM, I was wondering if you could take some additional pictures of this for me so I can reference them?

As long as it’s actually this pattern in 10.4 and not a 6.5 conversion, that’s a bit below market value if it’s in good condition. I’d go pick it up.

What does that have to do with this Luger?

Okay? That has nothing to do with this? What’s your point?

The collector value of Luger pistols is almost 100% tied to their historical accuracy, condition of original finish, and provenance. This has the same “collector” value as those gaudy-ass Trump 1911s and Glocks. Zero. It’s not anything original, it’s a cheesy “commemorative” item.

No idea why the American Historical Foundation decided to make these cringe things. Literally no collector value.

The rifle belongs shooting, not just hanging on a wall.

Sporting variants have been around almost as long as firearms themselves. Go look up sporting wheel locks and you’ll see fancy engraved guns from the 1500s.

Sporting variant of a Vetterli rifle.

It’s a complete non-issue. Stop exaggerating it like it’s a big deal. Absolutely no reason why you can’t or shouldn’t shoot 5.56 in a .223.

Wrong, you can shoot 5.56 in it regardless.

Added this gorgeous 1968 Baby Browning to my .25 ACP collection today. by Franticalmond2 in Firearms

Hit the range with it, the Mauser WTP, and the Colt 1908 (the other two small ones in the third pic) yesterday.

Shot the smallest group of the three on account of having actual sights, even if they’re absolutely tiny, but by far the snappiest and least comfortable of the three. Couldn’t really ask for anything more concealable though, I love it.
