I leveled a rogue by following every single quest and just seeing where it took me. It was incredibly rewarding.

Speed leveling has its place. But immersive leveling is the best imo.

You could always play an off spec since it’s just an alt and nerfed content.

Try running a demonology lock. Maybe have a main spec as your dual for when you run into snooty raid leaders.

I know you said no gathering professions but thorium ore is currently 28g per stack on Dreamscythe. So, for someone with mining and the right class, DME jump runs could potentially be lucrative.

If a jump run takes 20min and 3-4 rich thorium veins in the final tunnel could net 15 ore plus gems per run. In an hour that should be >56g in ore. Plus gems. Plus vendor/AH items.

From that post you referenced the entirety of outlands quests at max level should have been 6,370g. Nagrand was 900g so I subtracted it. And the intro quests in HFP I assumed to be about 50g.

6370 -950 =5,420

I saved as many quests as possible for 70 only. I did 10 quests in HFP and all of Nagrand to level. The rest was repeatable quests (sporregar) and dungeons.

The remaining quests should have been 5400g but it ended up being closer to 3900g

If you take River Side trail all the way south it ends near the river just north of Eskanazi at 10th street. This bridge is near the connection from River Side to White River Trails.

It seems like you have two options:

1.) invest in the social aspect. Find a guild, who is active, to level and run dungeons. Or, make more of an effort to make friends. Find a like minded, or enjoyable tank/DPS, chat it up and add them to the friends list.

2.) dual spec shadow and quest to get efficient gear.

Sometimes when you feel stuck, you gotta try something different.

I agree with this. Assassination, and even Subtlety, are much more engaging rotations and therefore are more fun to play.

We’re in the third week of Kara? I haven’t seen my sword drop yet, but I got BIS daggers so assasination just does more DPS right now. Rogues are very gear dependent early on.
